Alleged CFA33m Fertilizer Case In Court

An alleged botched CFA33m fertilizer transaction has landed a young Gambian man in court, JollofNews can reveal.

Alhagie Sillah was on Wednesday remanded on bail after denying allegations of obtaining CFA33m through false pretenses.

He appeared before Principal Magistrate Omar Jabang at the Kanifing Magistrates’ Court where his case was mentioned.

The young man has been accused of receiving CFA 33,000,000 from the complainant on pretext of supplying him 90 tonnes of fertilizer but never did.

He denied the allegations and to enable him gain his liberty in the meantime, he was granted court bail in the sum of D3m.

He must also provide two Gambian sureties with landed property worth D3m.

The case is now set for full hearing.
