Barrow Says Tobaski Day For Celebration, Reconciliation

President Adama Barrow of the Gambia has described Tobaski as a day for celebration.

He also described Tobaski as a day for reconciliation and reunion.

“Today is a day we should celebrate,” Mr. Barrow said in an interview on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha.

“Today is a blessed day. Today is a day we should reconcile, we should reunite,” stated President Barrow.

He added: “I call on all Gambians to pray for this country, to pray for the Muslim World…the entire world because the world is in crisis and I think the most important weapon for us as Muslims is prayers.”
