Gambia Para Team Arrives In B’ham Ahead Of Games 

Gambia’s Para powerlifter Modou Gamo and his coach Hagie Drammeh arrived in Birmingham, United Kingdom for the 2022 Commonwealth Games.

The games taking place in a residential Camp at the University of Birmingham Edgbaston campus starts Monday at Park Hotel and Conference Center.

The camp organise by GAPS is aimed at assisting Para Athletes preparations for the game in the English city.

GAPS Is also using the pre-camp as an opportunity to continue their educational seminars for athletes and coaches.

Para athletes are taking part, with the Para sport programme at Birmingham 2022 integrated with able-bodied competitions.

NPC Gambia is set to make its 1st appearance at the Commonwealth Games at Birmingham 2022. Modou and his coach will join The Gambia contingent which expected to arrive at the Game’s village on the 25th of July 2022.
