The President of State House Mosque Committee, Imam Lamin Touray, has hinted that the belief held by some political parties or individuals that their political misfortunes were as a result of others continued to render politics in the country toxic.
Touray also the Imam of Gunjur Mosque, said: “From the time of UP and PPP, PPP and NCP, APRC and UDP now NPP and UDP and other parties, there has always been this mistrust and strained relations as a result of somebody’s suspicion that somebody is responsible for their political failures.”
But according to him, nobody can make anyone anything without Allah’s will.
This was part of Imam Touray’s lengthy sermon on the occasion of the Eid-ul-Adha.
