Gambia Teacher Stabbed To Death Over A Chair

(JollofNews) – A junior secondary school teacher in the Gambia was Friday stabbed to death in the school staff room after he touched a colleague’s chair.

Alhaji Mustapha Jobarteh of Abuko Upper Basic School was allegedly stabbed by Ebrima Sanyang after he walked into the staff room and touched a chair Sayang was sitting on.
According to eyewitnesses, Sanyang had confronted  Jobarteh for touching his chair and later pulled out a knife from his bag which he plunged into his victim.
Jobarteh was taken in a taxi by his colleagues to the Edward Francis Small Teaching Hospital in Banjul but was later pronounced dead.
Ebrima Sanyang was arrested by police and is said to be helping them with their investigations.
