(JollofNews) – President Yahya Jammeh of the Gambia has today signed several cooperative agreements in the fields of double-taxation avoidance, income tax and air service with Qatar.
The deals, which were signed after a meeting with the Emir of the Gulf State of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, will further strengthen and promote developing bilateral cooperative relations between the two countries in various domains.
The two countries have enjoyed cordial relations for about two decades, which have been reinforced in recent times following the establishment of reciprocal embassies.
President Jammeh who is on a two-day state visit to the wealthy Arab nation, is expected to leave for Banjul tomorrow.
