(JollofNews) – Waking up in Day 1 of my regained half freedom, since I am still not free to travel out of The Gambia thanks to High Court Order of Dictator Adama Barrow, I have learnt one big lesson! That for the ensuring of greater freedoms in this country, the strengthening of our battered democracy by Adama Barrow and the accountability of our leaders, we must proceed with our planned 3 Years Jotna protest for March 2020 – date to be confirmed!
We cannot surrender our rights to freedom of assembly in The Gambia to another tyrant, without a fight!
Until Adama Barrow and his Jungular Police IGP, Mamour Jobe, Jungular SIS DG Ousman Sowe, Jungular Interior Minister, Yankuba Sonko, learn to respect our rights as citizens to peaceful assembly without police brutality, we must not fear their imprisonments!
The fear of Mile 2 ends at the gates of Mile 2. They do not enter inside Mile 2. Whilst in there, the least one fears is that of Mile 2.
Also let the rest of the protesters worry less, for it is the leaders they will arrest and we are ready to join our friends in Mile 2 again!
Please note this is not defiance of any authority but standing up for our rights! We urge everyone in the Diaspora to organise similar protest in their respective countries in the Diaspora for the rights of Gambians to peaceful protest in The Gambia.
Please start with the protests scheduled for tomorrow in London, United Kingdom at The Gambia High Commission! We must do this for The Gambia!!!
