If there’s anyone as despised and hated more than Alagie Barrow by those yearning for the return of their god rapist, killer and thief, it’s Ba Tambadou! Yaya Jammeh enablers and evil step children who loved his evil are again jumping on the bandwagon to criticize Ba not based on anything sensible but based on their unalloyed loyalty to evil.
To them, Ba could have been an angel but they’ll see a devil because Ba is the “devil” that dashed their hopes of Yaya’s return last December! They long for that evil because it’s in evil they thrived!!!
Personally, I’ve had very limited interactions with Ba and all my three interactions with him have been for professional reasons. He listened to my ideas and supported them where he agrees, to their logical conclusions. Did I always get what I hoped for? No I didn’t but I appreciated the nature and difficulty of what was before him.
Whenever I needed his professional intervention, I felt no reservations in texting or picking up the phone and calling him and he has been far more responsive than many I’ve dealt with high up in the government machinery.
Like many citizens, I too wish Ba had done some things differently but if there’s anything I admire about Ba, it’s his conviction in doing what he feels is right whether it will be popular or not.
Perspectives of the critic are very important in any criticism! Some come from personal grievances, others from lost glory and so they despise everything they see as glorious today, and yet for others like these APRC evil supporters, nothing but the return of their evil emperor will suffice.
If this new AG takes a similar stance on Yaya Jammeh, they will come out with tongues blazing!! It’s sad when sensible criticism can get lost in the swelter of the voice of unrepentant thieves and evil supporters! The trick is in separating their hubris and hate for what’s sensible!
