Lawyer Ebrima Jah has been accused of serious ethical and professional misconducts and the stage is now set for his “betrayal of trust” to be reported to the umbrella association of Gambian lawyers.

Lawyer Jah stands accused of surreptitiously collecting a body of vital information from a potential client but later gave it to the Qcell boss, who was also a party to the dispute in question.

The family of the late Alhaji Chondi Touray was trying to recover a piece of land sold to Muhammed Jah.

However, unbeknownst to the late Alhaji Chondi’s children, as written in a letter for publication also shared with JollofNews, attorney Ebrima Jah and the Qcell boss are brothers.

One of Touray’s children, Muhammed Touray, has been struggling to understand how lawyer Jah “used” him by gathering the necessary facts about the disputed land and then “stabbed (him) in the back.”

Muhammed vowed that since Lawyer Ebrima Jah had “betrayed” his trust, he’ll take the matter to the Gambia Bar Association.
