The British High Commission and the Gambia Legion are set to commemorate Remembrance Day Service next month.
The men and women, who exhibited valour in the two world wars, will be remembered on 11 November 2022, in commemorations to be held at the Commonwealth War Graves cemetery in Fajara.
“The Gambia Legion was founded by veterans of the First World War, who like all Legions, adopted the poppy as their symbol of Remembrance and hope,” said the British High Commission ahead of the annual commemoration.
