Renowned Islamic cleric Imam Abdoulie Fatty has launched Gambia’s first ever Quran and Sunnah online Television channel sponsored by the CEO of GACH, Dr. Abubakary Jawara.
The event held on Saturday at Busumbala, was attended by various Islamic scholars and dignitaries from all works of life.
Following his request for support, the CEO of GACH Global Company, Dr Abubakary Jawara in August last year, donated four hundred thousand dalasi (D400,000) to the Saudi trained Alhaji Abdoulie Fatty.
The donation was meant to help the former state house imam established his own Islamic electronic television channel project with the aim of promoting education, advocacy, spreading awareness and moderating Islamic thought among Gambian Muslims.
Speaking at the event, the GACH Boss reiterates his love for Islam and helping the poor and the needy at all times.
