According to information emanating from the Gunjur Development Committee, at least 125 young people would be employed in the construction of the community’s beach road which is set to begin in September.
The date for the commencement of the construction was disclosed during a meeting between the town’s authorities and the contractor Core Company witnessed by the chief of Kombo South Lamin S. Darboe, Councilor of Gunjur Ward Momodou Moncharreh Jibba, alkali Alhagie Omar Jiki Darboe, representative of council of elders and members of the construction company.
Construction of the about 4 kilometer road project will last for four months. It is a government funded project.

This is the type of projects the people, especially the youths need, I believe that The Gambia should also have a living minimum wage, so that the standard of living can be raised.
Anyways 125 people sounds like a lot for just 4km, Lol, I hope they are not going to have any ghost staff.
