The Chief Executive Officer of the GACH Global Group, Dr. Abubakary Jawara on March 5, 2024, donated one hundred thousand dalasi to the Muslim Funeral Group.
The money is meant to help the group conduct funeral prayers for Gambian migrants who died along their journey to Europe through the dangerous sea journey (Back Way).
The majority if not all of the people who died on their back-way journey to Europe are buried without proper or according to the Islamic principles based For this reason the GACH Boss deems it necessary to donate one hundred thousand to the group to perform befitting burial for the fallen citizens.
The funeral is expected to be held at the Buffa Zone on March 5, 2024, with over five hundred Imams delivering prayers for the dead.
