Officials of the proposed National Democratic Party (NDP) have failed to heed the ruling NPP’s seven-day ultimatum for them to fall in line.
The NDP is a break-away political movement of the ruling party, but its officials were last week given an ultimatum to fall back to the fold.
However, a senior official of the proposed NDP Mr Ousainou Baye Sankareh said the political movement will be registered as a bona fide political party come what may.
“We are not in the mood for any negotiation as of now. Our focus is on regularizing the party so that we can go to any possible future negotiations with our own agenda,” he told JollofNews on Friday morning.
The NPP’s youth president Kebba Madi Bojang is among those leading the charge for the NDP.
