The United Democratic Party (UDP) has announced several vacancies within its National Executive Committee, inviting interested members to apply ahead of internal elections later this month.
In a notice issued by the National Executive Committee, the party said the openings are subject to elections by the Central Committee. The positions available include:

National Organising Secretary

Deputy National Organising Secretary

Administrative Secretary, Media and Communication
-
Campaign Manager
-
Deputy Campaign Manager

2nd Vice President, Youth Wing (applicants must be under 35 years)

1st Vice President, Female Youth Wing (applicants must be under 35 years)
The UDP stated that all applicants must be bona fide members of the party in good standing.
According to the notice, applications should be addressed to the Secretary General at the UDP National Secretariat, located at 1 Alpha Tafsir Street, Banjul. The application period opens on 6th October 2025 and closes on 16th October 2025.
Hard copy applications are to be submitted to the Senior Administrative Secretary at the UDP National Secretariat, through the party’s Manjai Bureau in Kanifing Municipality.
The elections to fill the vacant executive positions are scheduled for Sunday, 19th October 2025.
The statement, issued by order of the National Executive Committee, underscores the party’s ongoing internal reorganisation efforts as it prepares for future political engagements.
