Rising star in the Gambia’s political scene Bakary K. Badjie will launch his political movement next month as more anti-government movements continue to sprout up in the country ahead of next December’s presidential election.
According to sources, preparations were at a heightened level for the “grand launch”, which will take place at the Teachers’ Union hall in Brikama on 4 January 2026.
Badjie, who is currently the legislator for Foni Bintang, promises a breath of fresh air and a new era of hope and limitless development.
