The attorney for the ruling Alliance for Patriotic Reorientation and Construction (APRC) has reportedly reached out to a rival faction official following his claim that D41M was given to APRC top figures to support President Adama Barrow’s 2026 presidential bid.
No-To-Alliance official Lamin Ceesay recently told a political gathering that the money was given to the APRC leader Fabakary Tombong Jatta and party officials Ousman “Rambo” Jatta and self-styled General Baxso Jaiteh.
JollofNews has gathered that the officials have consulted a lawyer, seeking from Lamin a public retraction or else.
The officials’ legal representative demand that Lamin convene a press conference to publicly recant his allegation and apologise to the aggrieved officials, failure of which would result in legal action, JollofNews gathered.
