As allegations flew around that the Gambia has given diplomatic passports to officials of Macky Sall’s government and their family members, seasoned Senegalese journalist Alhadj Mansour Diop has hinted that Gambian president Adama Barrow cannot adequately compensate former Senegalese president Macky Sall.
Diop opined that Mr. Barrow has a lot of favours to return to former President Sall.
“What Macky Sall did for Adama,” Diop stressed. He added: “The way Macky Sall ingrained Africa on his heart is the way Adama ingrained Macky on his heart. Imagine, Macky removed Yahya Jammeh, brought Adama to Senegal to swear him [into office] and gave him Senegalese gendarmes to protect him. His security rests in our hands. Can Adama pay back Macky?”
