Lawyer Ousainou Darboe has described the Barrow administration as illegitimate, saying the entire IEC should disengage if they’re men of conscience.
As the nation still tries to process the recent stunning revelation by Senegalese MP that Gambian national documents were free for all in his area of Senegal- Gambia border during election seasons, the assertive UDP leader charged that President Barrow is bragging over a feat that he has not actually accomplished.

The veteran Gambian politician reiterated the reason for not giving Mr. Barrow a pat on the back after IEC declared him the winner of the 2021 general election.
“I believe and UDP believes, Adama Barrow and his government are illegitimate. That’s why we have refused to congratulate them,” he explained.
