Gambia’s president Adama Barrow will Saturday attend a large political gathering in Jarra Soma, Lower River Region.
The ‘peace and reconciliation’ rally, which is organised by women and youths in Jarra, intends to bring together people across political parties, to reconcile and promote peace, stability and tolerance in the Gambia.
Mr Barrow who was elected in 2016, is expected to use his speech at the meeting to promote the principle of one Gambia, one People and one.
Thousands of Gambians across the country are expected to attend the meeting.
