(JollofNews) – Western Europe and the United States share a terrible history with Africa. History has shown that slavery and colonialism were the imagination and invention of Europeans for the purpose of exploiting and oppressing Africans.
History has shown that London, Manchester, Amsterdam or Paris were small and poor towns before the advent of slavery. But soon after the African Holocaust, these European cities and many more in Spain or Portugal emerged as huge industrial conglomerates ever since. For centuries Europeans came to African to kidnap our ancestors to ship away to their ‘New World’, which are the Americas from where the United States and Canada emerged as the richest countries.
Since Africa began its liberation struggle and eventually gaining independence from the 1960s, we have seen how western European countries and the United States jointly and individually spared no effort to undermine our struggle for self-determination. Where we even produced visionary leaders through the democratic process such as Kwame Nkrumah, Patrice Lumumba and Ahmed Sekou Toure, we have seen how the West purposefully sought to eliminate them one by one through various means. Until today the West continues to support dictators, rebel groups and exploit Africa’s huge resources for their own benefit and to our detriment.
Yet, in spite of slavery, colonialism and now neo-colonialism, Africans now willingly struggle hard to go the West. Today Africa’s best doctors, engineers, lawyers and engineers as well as experts in all fields have found home in the West, working there and developing Western economies. Our young people including the illiterate and unskilled are not left behind in this exodus to the West. Thousands continue to embark on all sorts of dangerous journeys just to get to the West. Thanks to our people in the West many families at home are having decent lives.
Why is that? Why are our people not running to China, Russia, Brazil or India like they head to the West? No one goes to seek asylum in China or Malaysia or Rumania? What is in the West that makes it our first choice and not to North Korea or Turkey or Iran? Why do we still go to the West despite the horrible history we share with them until today? China or Russia or India never enslaved or colonized Africa, yet we do not go to those countries but only to the West. Why?
The answer is simple. We all want to go to the West because of democracy. Any African who is persecuted in Africa runs away to seek asylum in the West. Any African who is seeking greener pastures or education goes to the West. This is because there is Democracy and Good Governance in the West. Because of that democracy and good governance, the West has produced sustainable economic wellbeing and immense opportunities for its people and we also want to benefit from that. Gambians in America, UK and Western Europe know this because they see how these countries are governed. They have see how American people or the British and Western Europeans engage and monitor their leaders to make sure they produce the right leadership based on democracy.
When one considers all of these, why then are Gambians, especially some of them in the West who have seen and experienced democracy face to face now deny democracy to their own people at home. Why is it that when someone raises his or her concerns and issues about the Gambia Government or Adama Barrow or a political party, these people in the West unleash so much violence on that person? They call you a tribalist, hater, social media expert, attention seeker or seeking cheap popularity. They would even try to question what you did during the APRC Tyranny as if they stayed in the Gambia and physically wrestled with Yaya Jammeh and defeated him a long time ago! Some would even rationalize that Gambia is not UK or US as if democracy is good for the West but not good for the Gambia.
Instead of these people demanding the best from our leaders and subjecting them to hard scrutiny, rather they condemn anyone who is trying to hold the Barrow Administration to account. What is most amazing is that these people are behaving exactly the same way as APRC folks were behaving when Yaya Jammeh was in power. At that time anyone who criticized Yaya Jammeh, you were labeled an unpatriotic citizen, a Western-backed agent or a tribalist who just hated Yaya Jammeh. Why are we repeating this? Why then did we remove Yaya Jammeh?
Everyone has seen that the only reason Western Europe, US and Canada are so rich and powerful is because of democracy. Therefore one would expect that Gambians in the Diaspora would uncompromisingly demand and insist on democracy for us also by any means, but so far what is coming out from some folks there is indeed scary. They enjoy democracy in the West yet they want to deny democracy to their own people in the Gambia. Why should we label a Gambian citizen negatively just because the person holds and expresses a divergent and dissenting opinion? Whose idea is correct? Who has the power to determine who is right or wrong? Can’t we just agree or disagree without having to vilify each other?
Is this the way we want to build the New Gambia? Is this the way we want to support and protect Adama Barrow? Can’t these people realize that they are not only harming Adama Barrow, but we are fundamentally taking our country back to dictatorship and destruction? Yet they still enjoy democracy in the West but they do not want their own people to enjoy the full extent of democracy at home. Certainly it is not ignorance but this is sheer dishonesty.
Gambians, Get Ready! We have entered Part 2 of the Struggle against New Dictators. On December 1 Gambia decided for True Democracy and we must not allow a bunch of Minority Dishonest Dictators to reverse that decision. Certainly this is not the reason why Solo Sandeng led patriots to demonstrate for democracy and electoral reforms. The struggle continues…
God Bless the Gambia.
Madi, Madi, Madi. This cup is half full. There is much to be thankful for in the metamorphosis of our country . Nov 2016 majority of Gambians at home and abroad were hiding like scared chickens from the murdering gaze of Yahya Jammeh. Today we are all experts and talking freely without fear. That is freedom. Even people like Babu Soli have the right to express any nonsense they wish. Praising Yahya and abusing Barrow. No fear. Nobody will seize them at night and feed them to crocodile in Kanilai. To me the West is just a classroom nothing more. Home is where the work and happiness is. Let’s agree to disagree that does not make us enemies. I can’t wait to meet Babu Soli. First I will kick his ass, then I will invite him to my home to break bread. Look when it’s all said and done deep down we all love our motherland
God Bless The Gambia
Dr Isatou sarr, don’t worry any more they can say what ever they want but yaya jammehs time is over, make no mistake if yaya jammeh misbehave where he is now, he will face the worst scenario. Edi amin does same similar things and end up exiled some where in saudi.
So far so good since late January in the Gambian’s atmosphere of-freedom of expression. Hope the criticisms pay for purpose.
Babu Soli? Yeah, he deserves a good birching then a glass of hot bitter lemon, salt and garlic. A goodwill gesture that should make him feel like home.
My Good Doctor/ I would be glad to break bread with you/ But I must pass on the other. { smile}
With respect;
“dr” Isatou Sarr,
I believe you might have been a toddler, in the cradle when the British colonial powers decided to acceed to the demands of our indigenous politicians for internal self rule leading to independence. From that cradle epoch of our political independence to the time President Jammeh took over, there had never been any form of free expression or civil liberties.
Ex-President Jawara jailed journalist Ba Trawalley for exposing his corrupt and nepotic government, disbanded the MOJA-G party, sent Mustapha Danso to the Senegalese firing squad, invited an invading external force and relegated the NCP leader and supporters to the streets. Those NCP supporters in public/paraestatal positions were summarily dismissed from their various positions. Did you know that, Isatou?
Better you stop sitting on your ass-hole and file a better research project on the political evolution of the Gambia that might award you a more recognizable doctorate degree. You are just ignorant about the Gambian political trends.
The former PPP government, a sneaky political grouping was the worst we have ever had, perhaps to be substituted by your incompetent Barrow government.
It appears that Madi Jobarteh (the praise singer) is learning his school lessons better. One can discern from these Madi scribblings that President Jammeh’s government had never been at the vanguard for migration, but just the opposite. And that Madi’s LIES about that in his previous postings before Jammeh left government have now been ostensibly refuted by the same Madi, the LIAR!
Undemocratic tendencies do not solely lie on denying free expression, undemocratic tendencies are equally manisfested by snubbing popular demands; the behaviour of your Barrow-Darbo-Mai Fatty tripartite grouping.
The opposition GDC posed doubts and questions about the recent parliamentary elections which, I’m sure, will NEVER be attended to nor answered. That’s your style of freedom of expression and civil rights, isn’t it?
When we have Barrow, a London Argos watchman, deported and wanted in London for immigration crimes; Darbo who has pending ligation claims from his clients and Mai Fatty who embezzled Norwegian financial contribution to his party, “dr” Isatou Touray who embezzled the GamcoTrap funds from Spain, Omar Jallow(OJ) the womanizer who impregnated the Bundung Sierra Leonean-born magistrate while minister of Agriculture and squandered WB funds for rural water projects while minister of Water Resources and the bunch of that old cadre of unscrupulous elements at the helm, with the support base of neocolonialist reactionary elements like “dr” Isatou Sarr, Bax, Buba Sanyang, Madi Jobarteh(nyamakala jallo), Bourne, Halaki, our SMILING COAST has already started to frown faces for indignation! May Allah the Almighty (SWT) redeem us from this predicament. AMEEN.
Quote: “…sent Mustapha Danso to the Senegalese firing squad,…”
Have you forgotten to mention that Mustapha Danso murdered his commander (Commander Mahoney) in cold blood. Or you just twisting the facts ?
Corregendum,
…Darbo who has pending LITIGATION claims………not ligation
As a Gambian with respected for names like Isatou, Kaddy, Bintang and so forth, I wouldn’t call on the namesakes of one of the latter to be insolent to them. I always wonder where you Soli.. Babu, who usually demonstrates to be of age and experience, has bred all the discourteous attitude from.
Yours are not scribbled. It is a big long fart from behind you that can send you to hell.
In our modern jargons, we refer to your type as, ‘badmind’. The type you know once they can’t crawl under people skins, they’ll resort to feeding on their own flesh. Debates have gone as far as to the ‘vampires’ in our society which is a very challenging engagement, for the vampire needs not a rocket to fly but by gaseous combustion from his behind. That’s why Soli.. Babu can never sit down a moment on his down behind. The reason why the devil (Soli Babu) is bitter is because you are badly disgruntled. Oh God protect me from Soli’s savagery and may his soul be exorcised of the demons in him. Ameen.

You are right Madi to ask those sharp and intuitive questions. But sadly we have more questions than answers in this world of ours. Demovracy is the watch word which had its origins from the Greek language.
It is a system of government advocated and not a way of life. As long as it is proven that life is just about evolving and adapting,we should strive to improve the educational systems what ever it takes and still remember on the back of our mind that there are lots metaphysical aspects that could not be defined by Science, democracy,Politics, you name it….
All constitutions or laws are directly or indirectly borrowed from the holy scripts…..so in the first place we should adhere to those, and continue from there to learn from our mistakes.
Africans travel to Europe mostly due to Curiosity by wanting to discover the inexplicable facts about the People who colonized them…
Discovery an Environment encourages us to determine for more as well as help innovate new methods, ideas or Products. Curiosity also lured us to search for information and become aware of the situation, diversity and Competitions.
By the way, Slavery has never been introduced by Europeans instead it was founded by the Arabs, who are still known to be Practising it on Blacks, women and the weak.
Arabs had forced Black People into the so-called Islamic Religion brainwashing us to believe that if one passes-away as a Muslim, 100 Virgins and bunch of women awaits you in Paradise infact they themselves are just fakes and committing Adultery marrying 3-5 women for their sexual Desires. Believe me Brother, i have so far lived in abundant Arab Countries and have realized that
our skin Colour never counts for them as Civilized human beings then, they set the Europeans on us for the Slave Trade of which we are still suffering from. Open your Eyes and Look within!!
@ Duran Deemer = The introduction of slavery would not had mattered if the practice was rejected. You should open your eyes on what is viewed as slavery still exist.
Polygamy has been practiced in many communities around the world, and even the practice of polyandry in some places. Certainly adultry also includes the practice of monogamy with countless mistresses, girl friends and husbands. You be the judge.
Sorry, but that bit about Arabs and forcing Islam on Blacks is just rubbish. Even the dubious Hadith that mentioned virgins in heaven didn’t put the number at 100. Which Arab land did you get that info from?

Wise words from a man who was crucified for his freedom of expression 2017 years ago.
May his father grant all of us forgiveness upon that hour/
Madi, you forget to mention about the horrific Arab slave traders http://atlantablackstar.com/2014/06/02/10-facts-about-the-arab-enslavement-of-black-people-not-taught-in-schools/#
Yes, bloody arab slave traders! Apparently, they are still at it today in Libya.
Moreover they are also buying prime real estate farming lands in Africa to guaranteed themselves of cheapo food supplies while African starve!
Still, I suppose, we must still face Mecca in prayer, or suffer the double whammy of missing out both in this, and in the next world!
Don’t take the Arabs of today, as demonstrative of Islamic Teaching. Their practise of Islam is as hollow as the trunk of a date palm tree. It is in actual fact, a fulfilment of the signs of the end of time.
Careful Kara, you will have someone on here calling you evil and something about your skull for telling the truth.
Absolutely right about those Arab slave traders! Definitely, they are still at it in Libya BUT shockingly with the help of certain Kalashnikov wielding Gambian youths too in the trades, as leads to sell out their own brothers and sisters to unruly Libyan armed groups who rape daughters and reap them of their monies and that of the brothers as well. None of those young Gambians are compelled to be armed according to reliable a sources, but their own discretions, exactly the same way they acquire land from Africans/Gambians at home. Obviously one would be very angry with those Libyan rapers and armed robbers but what about the shareholding Gambian brothers in such bloody acts of decadence…Are Africans/Gambians making history all about themselves, for their generations to come, as slave traders, slave overseers, ruthless dictators, armed robbers and deceivers. This is not for the Arabs who call Blacks; donkeys and hellbound people, to be vindicated of their terrible deeds to and conception of Blacks but to draw the attention of Africans/Blacks to their treatment of each other. If we are masters of our own thinking capacities, then why blame another for one’s lack of smart thinking and reasoning.
You wrote rightfully that “The answer is simple. We all want to go to the West because of democracy”
It needs probably to be revealed that democracy subsists in the west because it is forced upon the governors, so to speak, through its instruments. For example through firstly requiring in their Constitutions that public institutions must always work to ensure human dignity is observed in all their actions/inactions, and interactions with the citizendry, ensure that there is no where to hide really, except in behind democratic processes, imperfect though they may be, they at least provide the evidence needed to convince the courts that preservation of human dignity was considered in this, or that action/inaction.
Thus democracy in the west is felt instantly, and intensely in the “West” as 99% responsibility an 1% [potent]power. The reverse situation in Africa,m is, of course, 99.9% power, and .00001% responsibility – even if the numbers don’t really add-up, but, again nothing really adds ups here, so why should this one?. So african youth especially, and given the connected world we live in today, dream of being 99% responsible for their own destiny, and only having to submit to power 1% of the time.
As an example, it is possible to live 100 kms away from work and still get to work on time – because unexpected, and undignified road blocks, and unexpected police checks every 200 meters or so are unheard of – a complete violation of human dignity. In contrast, in the Gambia, it can twice as long to travel from, say, Brikama to Banjul because of the undignified, unjustified, police road blocks – each looking for … yes you have guessed it…., in complete violation of the fundamental human dignity of the citizendry.
Where would you rather live? where your right to God given human dignity (god given because the feeling of whether one’s dignity has been violated or not, is really emotional as opposed to cerebral) are guaranteed, and entrenched in the constitution – yes even if you are still regarded as second hand citizens, usually by people who already regard themselves as such- the so called “looking for a swelling of their rank syndrome”) , Or where you are subjected to several indignities on a daily basis, including unexpected, and uncalled for routine police road blocks. And all this while burglary rates, and domestic violence in the suburbs are sky high with no police insight.
I think the most motivation or the strongest pull factor for many Africans, as indeed non Africans, to the US & Western Europe, is the opportunities to better themselves first, and where the individuals come from closely knitted societies like ours, those that depend on them.
Whether it is the highly/semi-skilled professionals, unskilled workers, students, dependents or undocumented workers, the common denominator here, is the ambition to achieve a better life, through opportunities offered by countries in this part of the world.
The same can be said about the vast majority that are political refugees, fleeing either war or persecution from their own countries. Often, these groups cross numerous and relatively stable countries that can offer them the sanctuary they need, to reach Western Europe, mostly or the US, because in addition to the sanctuary, are the economic benefits that these countries provide to their legally resident “guests”.
As for “Democracy” in the West, including US, it did not drop from the heavens, like Manna did for the Biblical Jews. It is the culmination of a long and hard fought struggle for equality and equal treatment, sometimes very brutal and bloody, by the exploited masses against the privileged few, and the “battle” is still being fought across the entire globe, albeit in ways and forms different from the ones available to past generations.
The dynamics of the relationship between the two groups may have changed; the constituents of the two groups may also have changed; so too are the nature of the instruments and institutions that define the character and relationship between the two groups, but nonetheless, the FUNDAMENTALS of that relationship, has remained constant and unchanged to this day.
Whilst the membership of the privileged group used to be closed and determined by birth or bestowed as rewards or in recognisition of service, upon the loyal servants of this group, today it is open to anyone, regardless of birth, region or gender.
Thus, a person born to Fulani herdsmen in a remote village or the local black smith can rise up to become the President of The Gambia today, just like the son/daughter of a low paid coal miner can rise up to become the Prime Minister of Great Britain, but the struggle between the exploited and the exploiters, in both The Gambia and Great Britain will continue. The only difference, as far as the above mentioned examples are concerned, is that both the President and PM (offspring of the exploited) have moved out of one group (the exploited), into another group (the exploiters).
It can be argued, that despite claims of democracy in the West & US, real democracy has eluded mankind for as long as the idea and concept was conceived by human beings. And if we go by its definition by the famous American President, Abraham Lincoln (1809-1865) as being, “Government of the people, by the people, for the people”, then what we have today, is a semblance of democracy around the world, rather than Real Democracy, with different countries employing different system to achieve the rule of democracy that is desired by the rulers, the powerful and the influential.
The most successful countries to realising this desire to establish democracy, are undoubtedly, the West & US and the progress of these nations is partly due to the freedoms and openness that come with democracy.
The biggest factor to the progress we see in the West & US, though, in addition to the establishment of democracy, is the opportunities of history that has led to the amassing and concentration of huge volumes of wealth, collected from all parts of the world, in this part of the world, which inturn, provided the huge capital investment required to advance the industrial revolution into the future.
Africans and non Africans are scrambling to these countries because the “crumbs falling off the dinner table” of the privileged few are greater than anywhere else, and the trend will change, if the economic realities change.
In fact, there are many highly skilled and semi-skilled professionals, who are abandoning the stable democracies of the West for the head chopping dictatorships of the Gulf states, because the “crumbs off the dinner tables” are more in these Gulf states than the stable democracies.
How has the West achieved stable “democracies” and what can we learn from them?
In my view, the West (US included) succeeded due to THREE main factors:
(1). The clear understanding of the founding fathers (of modern countries of the West) about the system of governments they want to establish;
(2). Their commitment to ensuring that this system offers a fairer, more just and more accountable forms of government;
(3). The expansion of the right type of education amongst the population, thus creating increased levels of awareness, interest and participation in the governance of the state.
Without a clear understanding of what is required, matched by a genuine commitment of the leadership and mass citizen participation, it would have been impossible to achieve what has been achieved.
The Gambia, in particular and Africa in general, need a breed of leaders who are committed to establishing systems of governments that offer more openness, more freedoms, are more just, are fairer and more accountable. This should be accompanied by expanded education of the right type, which will result to active citizen participation in the governance of the countries.
Without the commitment on the part of the leadership, the awareness and involvement of the population, our desire for “Democracy” will be a long way away.
bax,
Have you forgotten that Mustapha was logged in Mahoney’s “BLACK LIST” without remorse. He was villified, subjected to all forces of harsh and uncalled-for FIELD FORCE punishments, pushed against the wall without and prospect of being promoted. The end result was: Mustapha saw an AKU man discriminating a MANDINKO. He resorted to force, though not justifiable but mind you, these were the culminating results of the tribalistic Gambia of the 60s to early 90s.
At least, you acknowledged that his criminal action wasn’t justified. He was spared execution of his death sentence whivh was delivered by a properly constituted court of law. His wilful participation in the 81 armed rebellion against the state, sealed his faith. You shouldn’t have used his case to prove your allegations against the Jawara administration. He was a convicted murderer on death row, who unlawfully “escaped” from prison and took part in a rebellion against the legitimate authority of the state.
Outdated idiot, Babu Soli, so you being logged in Bourne’s ‘blacklist’; means Bourne deserves to be assassinated by you?
Hah! He who defies Babu Soli dies! I heard in one of your boss’s lunatic rants too that, Gambians didn’t fear God but they’ll fear him (Yayah Jammeh).
Uncivilized neocolonialists’ stooge, like the wolf in a sheep’s clothing (stumbling block) in the Africans’ strides of cause. Hypocrites ‘pull the trigger’ on their cousin brothers’ heads to put the blame on colonialism. Hope Madi isn’t referring to your views too, as ‘divergent’. Divergent views are tangible and sincere as well but not motivated by unscrupulous itches in an idiotic mind like that of Babu.
Bourne
Babu Soli and his village idiot friend Sidi Bojang are the lone voices in this discourse. They will say anything including twisted and fabricated lies to justify the unjustifiable. We shouldn’t be surprise if Babu next proclaim that there is no God but Yahya Jammeh. These guys are odd balls, tribalist, bigots and confused love of country with lost of privilege, lost of Jola hegemony or empire in our homeland. These guys lack empathy for fellow men as for their blind loyalty to a man who destroyed our country, robbed, raped, tortured and disappeared our people for 22 long years. Enjoy the new found freedom in our country Babu, as these statements from you regarding this government would certainly get you killed or fed to crocodiles alive in some remote pool at Kanilai.
Natty Dread, we can’t be careless letting Babu Soli soil the the whole ground. He is a hazard to the public welfare of the nation. Please keep coming hard on him. If he can’t be tired dropping, why should we be tired of picking up his mess after him. We need to do it for the public’s health including you, me and Babu Soil himself.
Natty Dread, The self-described “lady”. “Lady of the Night”? If all ladies behave and communicate like you, Motherhood will be an endangered species. I am indeed proud of my Rural background. Infact, I stated as much in this and other Fora sometime ago. My Rural upbringing gave me an Appreciation for Truth, Credibility, Honor and Self-sufficiency, Respect, Workethic and Economic Independence that you never had and will never have. Yours is the life of Pretenciousness of “sophistication” and cleandiness of a Chicken From the Chicken Coop, the chicken that you are appear to be “clean” but go to the Chicken Coop, it is as dirty and stinking as your abode. Yours is the Pretencious image of affluence with only your Solicited bargained basement “Fogger Jai” just to be able to pay the rent after borrowing from any willing Customer for an arrangement for an Inkind payment. After all, someone in your family of Six or Seven dependent adults and children who do not have enough to eat, nor enough space to sleep. Yours is the City Slicker Wanna be, who does not even have a toilet to sh.. t in, but a make shift Bucket. Yes, Natty Dread, I am a Villager, a Ruralite and better for it. What have you done with your so-called City Slicker Wanna status? Borrow or liaison with anyone for a horizontal Mambo? In your case, it may be the animal style, to make ends meet for the family? Please, don’t get me started. If I did not grow up in a family where women are respected regardless of their reputation, I will be compelled to Open up on your Nocturnal adventures of immoral deeds to render you Personon grata to many a decent Gambians of Moral fibre. RESPECT Yourself and Simmer Down Mr. Oh, I mean Ms. Natty Naughty…
Sidi village idiot Bojang
The village idiot connotation have nothing to do with where you were brought up Sidi. It is just an expression to describe an idiot from a village, town, city who have no ideas,no opinions, no suggestions but go with the flow of public opinion to stay relevant. It is quite rich for the son of a ”Nbindan” to boast of honor, self sufficiency and economic independence, with half dozen half brothers and sisters whose fathers could have been humans or mules. Time changed Sidi! Times have changed.I have achieved lofty heights in the socio economic ladder than your stupid feeble head can comprehend,General Manager of an enterprise of almost 100 staff, happily married for 17 years with 3 children. You see i once told you Sidi,i am not into pomposity or attention seeking. Being the only child of an affluent parents gave me all the things that you, probably an illegitimate son of a ”nbindan” can only dream of. Reading your piece gave me a glimpse of the world you lived in during the early days of your unsophisticated existence.
Sidi son of a ”nbindan” talking of immoral deeds when your own household is populated with half brothers and sisters from the mum’s travels. This testament ain’t from me but from Yahya Jammeh himself when he questioned his own legitimacy,if he is actually a bastard or not as he doesn’t know his dad. Bark with your mouth Sidi not your anal cavity when dealing with Natty Dread and try and improve your grammar for God sake. ” person non grata” ”mothers will be an endangered species” ” cleanliness” etc, etc.
Bring it on feeble confused old man.
What is this rural urban fight all about. Many of our leaders were born in the rural areas anyway. The rural areas provide food for most urban areas, although most businesses are conducted in the urban areas. Anyway who cares, aren’t they all in the same country?
Bro, you are evidently the fakest science fiction of the century. Man, going one’s own way ain’t bad at all but you gotta be sure what way. Babo, Baboon, whatever, you just gotta give your dross spilling a break. Come on man, go get a bunch or maybe just one fine rose for the queen of your house.
That’s a beginner’s lesson of respect for ‘them’. Come on don’t come back spouting, you need your misplaced senses bro. Just my sincere concerns for a fellow citizen.
Bax,
Mustapha didn’t face the firing squad for killing a Gambian, Mahoney but was shot to death by the invading Senegalese forces for standing against that banditry neocolonial force. What type of Gambian justice are you referring to?
I hope Mustapha relations hear from you!
Hope Mahoney’s kind hear from you. But what do this clown down. Why flare too much discord and lack of trust amongst people of the who’re trying to make it better them all. What’s you blatant hypocrisy about. You’re a carbon copy of Yayah’s compunction to the art of splitting towns, villages and worst of all, even closely knitted families in the Gambia. If you’re Mustapha Danso’s family, why not come forward then? But you’re not one of those. You sound like one of those Gambian citizens sitting on the fence between The Gambia and Southern Senegal. You are up to know good like creatures by night who
Hope Mahoney’s kins hear from you! But what the hell do you down, Babu the clown? Why flare up too much discord and lack of trust amongst people of the Gambia who’re trying to make it better for the whole lot? What’s your blatant hypocrisy about. You’re a carbon copy of Yayah’s lack of compunction to the art of splitting towns, villages and worst of all, even closely knitted families in the Gambia. Just hear him saying, ‘i will build a an exclusive two storey for you in your compound that everyone one in your village will talk about’, to an already established private citizen living with his extended family. If you’ re Mustapha Danso’s family, why not come forward then? But you’re not one of those. You sound like one of those Gambian citizens sitting on the fence between The Gambia and Southern Senegal. You are up to no good like creatures by night who shrill with joy to the destruction and sorrow of others. You’re just an alphabetised online english user, who is unsophisticated and too primitive to be of any substance to any process of progressive civilisation. Your rubbish of handing out $100 to folklore and claiming you’re helping them to prosper is proof of your primitivity and lack of ideas in contributing to sustainable development projects among the grassroots. I agree with a folk who said that is a food for votes gesture. Or could be votes for food….
Mustapha was captured life and executed by firing squad. I know that from an eye witness to the execution, a very senior prison officer at the time.
Jack(ass),
It’s late already. I was busy at work and had a last minute glance at your stupid and senseless posting. I’ll come back to your filthy JACKASS t’morrow. In Sha Allah.
Were you incensed by my posting? Do you want me to be silent and stop saying my mind? You must be an IMP to go that far, in attempting to silence me. You naughty idiot!
Stupid fool. Jack is a name and surname as well.
You better get your head out of the mule’s ass you dirty sadistic being. What and idiot of a hoax you prove to be, trying to justify Mahoney’s killing in contrast to Danso’s, sad incidents according to sources, took place nearly four decades a ago. You devil down from hell with horns and flaring red eye sockets. What’s your hypocrisy about? You need to answer this question rather than insinuating that someone wanted to silence you.
Your creepy writings are all revelations of the stumbling blocks of the art of demonic hypocrisy in Gambia’s maturing democracy. No body gets silenced in the Gambia today but our voices ought to be genuine enough to help make this democracy flourish for Gambians and residents, as the Western democracies worsen for you and I. Don’t blame them, blamed yourself. I bet there is more respect for the Syrian, Iraqi, the Afghan etc. than the sub-Saharan.
I have a dream, I packed up, surrendered my immigrants’-status-elevated, and headed home once and for all to a fully blossomed democracy in the Gambia.
Babu Soli-head in the mule’s ass, are you planning to come home to settle down finally?
You don’t sound like it. You love the colonial master’s cheese and honey so you obviously have to work overtime…. Isn’t it?
Natty Dread,
“Babu Soli and his village idiot friend Sidi Bojang are the lone voices in this discourse”.
This statement reminds me of my Yundum College days, when the Banjul college students would refer to us as: village, local, provincial, protectorate, uncivilized elements.
Here you are with the same terminology for SIDI BOJANG. Can I presume that you are from the metropolitan Gambia? You have on several occasions refered to Sidi as a village boy. Can you please give us details of what a village boy is? Then I will give you a more subtle response. I’m looking forward to receiving my answer.
Bourne,
“Natty Dread, we can’t be careless letting Babu Soli soil the the whole ground”.
What a distressful statement/call.
Are you on the defensive or offensive side of our political divide. Personally I’m on both sides. I’ll defend to the teeth what excellent legacies President Jammeh left for the Gambians and oppose your bitty, corrupt and incompetent administration that has already faltered and disappointed our citizenry with their bigotry, pomposity, lack of foresight and inept form of governing our affairs.
Colluding with Natty to fight back Babu Soli is an uphill task. You have many hurdles to overcome.
Remember the millions of offensive diatribes when President Jammeh was there. We accepted your criticisms, then.
Do you mean you have all along been waiting to receiving our applauses because a new but incompetent administration is in place? Nay, bro/sis Bourne.
We’ll follow and expose your administrators at all corners of our country. They are just hopeless!
Goodnight.
Bro/sis Babu Soil, why should your disgruntled shadow of a beast be out to expose any wrong doings when you and your boss are being exposed, caught red-handed with blood of citizens on your hands, citizens you buried in unmarked graves around the country. No it’s definitely you on the defensive talking about Mustapha Danso and all what not just to distract attention from the horrendous crimes committed by your love, Yayah Jammeh. I know any attempts to sharpen up your tired old Yumdum College brain, as you should rightfully refer to that college established by Yayah Jammeh….., is a difficult task uphill and with hurdles but, ‘a luta continua’ for it shall be you crashing down on the hurdles. You are just good at one thing Babu Soil, telling others what you should be told. I think you should assist in the search for the young man’s remains, Tumani Jallow, one of Yayah Jammeh’s latest victims. No, you didn’t think about that but the hell of your marrow and fingertip went scribbling like a toddler; am I on the defensive.. because I said to you, stop fouling up the air. Once again, I would like to remind you that I am never insolent to names like Binta, Kaddy and so forth even whereas they are pennames because I have a lot of respect for women. I won’t take for granted a male figure is writing by a woman’s name.
You said to be on both sides and also claiming a political divide but unlike you, I don’t take sides at all. What I do is, critically reason as to why human species like you Babu Soli, built up your saddened and hateful mindsets. I am relentless when it comes to haters like you living in the midst of a small population like the Gambia’s. My queen is right here with me outing. I bought her a rose from the Paki so she won’t be stressed up with me spending a lot of time writing, trying to heal the sickened political conscience of a fellow citizen. I can’t imagine any being insolent to her.
Bourne
I must drink attaya with you someday in our beloved homeland when our beloved citizenry completed the cleansing of the filth left behind by Jammeh and his evil killers, when the soiled soul of men like Babu Soli and his village idiot friend Sidi Bojang are sanitized with water from the well of zam zam.
Natty Dread, God willing, we shall drink attaya together sooner than you might be thinking, time being the master. Babu and Sidi are curses to our hard-working and socially educated peasantries of self-integrity. I guess Babu and Sidi themselves might be well established in the urban areas and have very little idea of the grassroots people. They run their mouths on behalf of the rural people and that’s it. You are right; zam zam water can sanitize their soiled souls as it has the powers to purify even the most sinfuls of souls. If Yaya Jammeh takes it, he could confess to all his atrocities and financial crimes. ZamZam is a sanitizer.
