  1. Many Congratulations ; A sound candidate and a wise choice. I have always believed real progress and industry for Africa is held firmly in the capable hands of African women. The men thus far have and continue to make a real mess of African ambition, enlightenment and the peoples energy.

  2. IHRDA core responsibility is to provide pro bono legal defense to victims of human rights abuse. Paile has the education and training to serve in this important role with distinction. This choice was based purely on merit and a track record of excellence in the sector.
Gambia political elites must learn from this organization. Contrast the lack of nepotism here to the hiring of a disgraced Yahya apologist and sycophant who was hired by the VP. Assan Faal who was under investigation in the USA, ran away to Gambia to start singing the praise of Yahya Jammeh, defended that brutal regime and recruited and encouraged business to work with Yahya Jammeh, was suspended as a financial broker in the USA on allegations of fraud. Did not stay in America to defend the charges against him and clear his name, has now found favor with our new naive VP who appointed him to head an economic development parastatal. At the very least Assan Faal should have been asked to return to the US and clear his name before he was entrusted with our economic blue print. How can investors do business with a tainted man heading a clueless government entity. My advice to our VP is be careful and do the right things.
Congratulations to IHRDA, congratulations to Paile.
    God Bless The Gambia.

  3. Dr Sarr, i cannot agree more, positions of responsibility must be entrusted to eligible people based on strict merit, nothing more nothing less. Most African governments fail because they think a government is run like a family business by favoring friends and relatives.
    Allah bless The Gambia.
