The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Gambians Abroad, Dr Mamadou Tangara,Tuesday met with President Macky Sall of Senegal to map out ways of deepening ties between the two sister countries.
During the meeting at the Presidential Palace in Dakar Mr Barrow’ envoy and Mr Sall talked about ways to strengthen further the good bilateral cooperation between The Gambia
and Senegal. Other areas discussed include strengthening regional cooperation and security.
The visit by the Gambian Foreign Minister was meant to enhance the relations between the two countries bearing in mind that upscaling of bilateral cooperation between The Gambia and Senegal is of immense
relevance to both countries.
