The National People’s Party is set to hold a major political rally on Saturday, January 3, 2026, in Mamuda Village, Kombo South, in the West Coast Region.
According to a statement from the party, the rally will begin at 4:00 PM and is expected to draw thousands of supporters, party members, alliance partners, and sympathizers from across the country. The event is being organized by the NPP in collaboration with its Rapid Response Team, an affiliate group within the party structure.
The gathering will mark six years since the formation of the National People’s Party and will also serve as the official launch of President Adama Barrow’s 2026 re-election campaign. Party officials say the rally will highlight what they describe as key achievements made under the NPP since coming to power.
In the statement, the NPP Secretary General and Party Leader, together with members of the National Executive Committee, extended an open invitation to party supporters, partner political parties, and members of the media to attend the event.
The rally in Mamuda Village is expected to be one of the largest political gatherings held by the party since its formation and signals the start of an active campaign season ahead of the 2026 presidential election.

The statement was signed by Seedy S. K. Njie, Deputy Spokesman of the National People’s Party.
