Some residents of one of the neighbourhoods of Jabang are currently living in a heightened state of fear over their safety and that of their children as electricity cables literally bestride one of the streets of Jabang Layout.
One of the residents of the neighbourhood explained to JollofNews that the issue was brought to the attention of NAWEC but nothing remarkable has so far happened.
“We’ve called NAWEC since this incident happened in the afternoon but we are yet to hear from the company,” one concerned resident explained to JollofNews.
Residents, who spoke to this medium, appealed to NAWEC to respond to the situation to avert potential danger to the community.
