President Adama Barrow will address the nation on Thursday on matters, relating to the Janneh Commission report, the Ministry of Information announced Tuesday evening.
The announcement followed an emergency Cabinet meeting held earlier in the day, which President Barrow convened and chaired. The meeting focused on the findings and recommendations of the Janneh Commission, which investigated financial dealings and assets linked to former President Yahya Jammeh and his close associates.
“The President will subsequently address the nation tomorrow, May 14, 2025, on the matter,” the Ministry said in a brief statement.
Further details on the time and format of the address have not yet been disclosed.
