(JollofNews) – Speaking for myself, I would always trust Amadou Samba’s judgement. This is because in the many times we have met and discussed the business proposals in hand, I found him to be decisive and trustworthy and not a man to suffer business fools gladly.
When I was presented with support from Trade International and the then British minister of Trade and Industry, Rt. Honourable Richard Coborn MP, in May 2000, Mr Samba was introduced to me as the best businessman in the Gambia and someone I should “court” for support given his knowledge on “how to do business in the Gambia”.
Sadly, my business proposals came to nothing but it was never a reflection in any way upon Mr Samba. He was definitely “Premier League” and my British business investors only “second division”.
I was very impressed to visit Mr Samba in the morning at our pre-arranged meeting and see him in one of President Jammeh’s Landrover in the afternoon, followed by thousands of farm ladies dressed in green on the Banjul to Serrekunda highway. Mr Jammeh won that election easily.
For Amadou Samba to ask President Jammeh to accept the results of the December 1st presidential election is by far the strongest voice to support President elect Barrow.
I have asked Mr Samba several times for a political opinion and his pet answer was always “I am a businessman not a politician”. And in my six years of association, it is to the best of my knowledge that his much publicised letter to President Jammeh is the only time he has ever given a political opinion. He is of course also a trained and accomplished lawyer and this was reflected in our careful exchanges.
There was always a conflict between the bright young business advocates at Trade Partners on Victoria Street, London and the British High Commission in Banjul, whose officers were at times very negative and downright insulting.
Hence I have always been grateful to President Jammeh and the APRC for their high level of support. We did achieve some good results at community level and my shared honorary citizenship with Mr Arsene Wenger of Arsenal FC from Gunjur is amongst my most treasured possessions.
What is of paramount importance now is the transition of peace and security from outgoing President Jammeh to incoming President Barrow. I can only echo the many wise commentators who are calling for the Gambia Armed Forces to follow the will of the people.
The details now given by Mr Jammeh’s advocates at the Supreme Court don’t really amount to much, and in any case, the combined majority against President Jammeh of 60 per cent is a significant vote in favour of the change demanded by the Gambian people.
Should there be any bloodshed or conflict (god forbid), this must reflect upon President Jammeh and his position as the sworn defender of the Gambian constitution and the safe keeping of all Gambians and their property up and until the end of his mandate on 18th January 2017.
The tide has now changed. My thanks and gratitude to Amadou Samba for making Gambia’s new future very clear for us all. God Bless The Gambia.
Dear Michael
After reading Amadou Samba’s letter I could not help but write a caption on it.
Amadou Samba I shall say is the biggest movie star in the history of The Gambia-I shall not call him a businessman but a movie star.
This letter would have had merit if:
(1) Amadou wrote it and he was still in The Gambia. Why did he leave The Gambia. Let us not forget his most public picture when Jammeh was going for nomination.
(2) Amadou Samba made mention of being in business for 35 years. Out of those 22 years for him to have the audacity to say he had out of pocket expenses in supporting the APRC government is the biggest fools game he is playing on us as his audience. This is a man who won all the major contracts during the APRC government up to date. Giving a mere D500,000 from time to time when you have milked the Gambian people of millions in dollars is that support or out of pocket expenses?
(3) Amadou ‘The Oscar’ winner tell us if selling bottled water and being an agent of GACEM can help you to obtain that type of wealth to the extent of hiding it in off shore companies leading to you being in the Panama papers. Samba dream on you can fool some not all of us.
(4) Amadou do you remember you are and were the Chairman of Judiciary Service Commission. What happened with your advisory to make sure that the law was adhered to. Rather Gambians suffered and you watched because your interest was financial therefore nothing mattered but your interest.
(5) Amadou when have you been that humble anyone that crossed your path suffered under Jammeh’s regime. Is that what manage Jammeh means.
(6) Amadou do not forget that every business that has come into The Gambia has passed through you and you have been paid millions for no reason at the expense of running our dear Gambias economy cold.
Remember the gateway with the Spainish Company based in Miami – was that just luck or corruption.
GAMCO – selling groundnuts within the same group and declaring it bankrupt was that just a ponzy scheme or bad business.
(7) Amadou I work in the government and all the deals you have been involved in we kept a separate file for you as we knew one day your case would be called.
(8) Remember you orchestrated many families to have problems with Yahya Jammeh because you were his hybrid between the executive and the community at large. When the time comes I shall explain. How many families once a member is arrested you stay away from that family because you knew what you had already told Jammeh.
(9) Amadou your daughters wedding Jammeh gave 1 million dalasis. Was this because you were a good citizen?
Amadou Samba – when you knew the ship was sinking, you ran to Senegal watching events unfold. It is clear that Jammeh and your assets are inter twined but quite a bit is in your name hence you decided to write that letter to try to disassociate yourself from him.
We have contacts in the Banks when you would collect money to deliver to him. Were you a signatory to a ghost bank account?
(10) Do you remember your case against Sidia Bayo – an incident that happened in Senegal the matter taken to Gambia and the courts and he was found guilty and wanted just because it involved you – Jammeh’s ally. You were carrying cases beyond boarders because you were that close to Jammeh.
Amadou Samba – all I can advise you is know that changes has come. The illicit gains you made can easily be ascertained because we have the records.
e.g.
We know the world market price of petroleum the platts price and premium. How much you and Gampetroleum how you sunk the country dry to profit 100s of millions is there for us all to show you the calculation.
Simply call your offshore bankers to transfer back to The Government of The Gambia the corrupt and illicit gains you made before your assets are frozen.
Also remember governments come and go so try to do good and live a humble and simple path.
We are here in Gambia and suffered because of few people included but not limited to Yahya Jammeh and Amadou Samba.
Gambians do not be conned by Amadou Samba. In short the man is a criminal and should be tried in court for economic crimes.
Your Gambian Brother
Omar Njie
Dear Omar,
I would not be the one who would judge anyone without any basis for your allegations. You should publish your evidence online, {if true} In the meantime, I would not say that all APRC supporters are criminals. Some who I know took grave risks, as fellow Gambian’s. In the reconstruction of the “new” Gambia, you would rely on those with the greatest knowledge and experience irrespective of party allegence, to form the economic backbone of the economy. For myself, if Mr Samba wrote and published his highly commendable letter whilst sun bathing on the moon, it would make no difference to me personally. The fact is he has written it and he stands by it is what counts. Those who want to smash The Gambia, without exception are riding a dangerous horse. Let this new government of wise men and women,,,,guard there personal feelings for the betterment and clean transition guarding all Gambian’s and there hard earned assets large or small. I follow those with Gambia’s best interests first. I have no time for personal agenda’s true or false.
Dear Michael
Over the years you have written beautifully on all areas that pertains to better scrutiny and improvement for our beloved Gambia.
True Amadou is smart but callous to want to at the 11th hour make himself look like a saint.
I respect you and personally feel that yes you could have welcomed his letter and stop there. This is freedom of speech but to paint him as a gift to Gambia- majority of gambians beg to differ.
I have nothing personal against Amadou but just that he is a criminal and the law will take its toll on him in due course of time.
I gave you an example were he was making 100s of millions of dollars on the premium of petroleum from lines of credit from Multi lateral institutions. Is that being smart. Are you aware of the corruption that was going on there. We did our homework and knew the wicked profits being made at the expense of the Gambian people because his group had exclusivity to import based on his relation with the president. And now the Oscar winner wants to exclude himself.
The new Gambia we shall build with people like you and sound minded and heart people but the likes of Amadou Samba the d’osier is here and we are just waiting for the right moment to give it to the relevant authorities here in The Gambia and world wide.
We know how he transferred monies from accounts to hide and even use proceeds to buy property in London acting as if those funds were clean and that he made huge gains etc.
We have people on the bank that monthly had records of his bank statements.
Are you aware of how much arrest he orchestrated.
Michael out of respect, lets build Gambia together without the likes of Amadou Samba.
The authorities at USA, EU and UK will decide if this is hot smoke or the real deal.
Amadou can only fool his entourage but not the Gambian people. Time will tell.
Dear Omar,
There are Gambian’s online and elsewhere who think “the culture of fear” would be ended on 19th January 2017. All Gambian’s have been traumatised by its strong hold on any individual to speak freely without caution. Under Jammeh I was confronted with blank faces when I asked leading questions about his terrible regime. The status quo, will take time to banish. People are still writing anonomously and still guarding there speech. Freedom has not yet broken out. However, the dam has burst but not yet broken. For Mr Samba to join the gathering water course, is a significant hemorage to the destruction of this condition. The National Assembly is still dominated by APRC. Therefore Mr Jammeh still holds significant power. The International community have yet to sound last orders for Jammeh. It would be difficult to guage there resolve in this matter. {Yet again} The problem at hand is not individuals but the main protagonist himself. Until the GAF’s position is known post the 19th January,,,The matter rests in the hands of God.Our prayers must appeal to those carrying rifles and orders from above to lower there gun’s and return to barracks. I said this before the election. My words are holding up, When the seat of power is truly transferred, all these matters and how to deal with them can be considered. My fear is the combined opposition will take a wrong turn and disintegrate Right now all voices of significance must be counted. With Respect .
Dear Michael
Very sound words of reality. As you can see from my writings my focus had been the scam in Amadou Samba’s dishonesty and letter that to me carries no weight.
Amadou has been trying to contact and make access to the new president elect. All of this to reinvent the wheel.
The man is not sincere and is a liar.
Amadou Samba is one man Gambians cannot forgive as he was part and parcel of this dangerous and lawless system.
With further respect and leave and let leave. My continued respect to you but Amadou Samba once the apparatus is in place our evidence on him will be given to the authorities locally and internationally for the immediate seizure of his assets and recordings of his support of human rights abuses.
I can bet we shall be in touch soon as.
Dear Omar,
Firstly I would like to praise the editors of Jollof News for keeping us up to speed on this rapidly unfolding situation. Reading President elect Barrows words, he is asking for all Gambian’s to get behind his position. He makes it clear that he has considered all grievances and sets out what his aims and objectives are. He gives a comprehensive road map that would be followed by his administration. In my opinion this amalgamation of well chosen words, encompasses, how his administration intends to proceed with all the peoples grievances in a structured manner. Mainly through the courts and through a truth and reconciliation commission. I will not join any” lynch mob” mentality.Let us leave this to The American movies and there past culture. This is Gambia. These are Gambian’s. We do things differently. Gambians have the greatest capacity to forgive but not forget. Gambia is a young nation with a very old and well defined culture. I mean which other nation can you name that is as friendly and hospitable. Which other nation could absorb its recent history better, with such community strength. These firecrackers of personal anger, are unwelcome distractions from the main aim of reconciliation and peace. We want to heal deep wounds and set The Gambia in its true position within West Africa and The World. Yahya Jammeh was never what you are. Let us pray God has a good plan. Let us hope we will all one day meet again, in peace without fear. Let us believe Gambia is the next movie star of world nations. I believe we can surely make it
Kind words that I guess many of us relish.
Reconciliation starts with the big thief Amadou Samba returning the hundreds of millions of pounds and dollars stashed in his foreign accounts. One man stealing and making corrupt commission payments to him at the expense of the Gambian economy and people for shear greed isn’t going to be forgiven trust me.
Three people that will not be forgiven Yahya Jammeh Zeinab Jammeh and Amadou Samba.
Pay the monies back into government coffers simple as 123.
Amadou Samba like I told you we tracked him for a very long time he had no regard for The Gambia but himself now Gambia is back and will reclaim its money from a wrongful keeper.
Amadou just return the stolen funds.
Are you aware of the inter connect deal he had with Africell.
Are you aware of the gateway with Glo.
Are you aware of the Gamveg that they had exclusivity of supplies in the country milked the economy and later bankrupt it and walked away with millions.
These are just 3 new Sambagate different from the earlier mentioned.
In short Amadou owes Gambians millions and we shall recover them.
Like I said his d’osier is ready to be handed to international agencies and governments that funded projects which he corruptly took money from.
Amadou fair is fair every day has a night and every night has a day.
Night fall is finish for Jammeh day time is here for Adam and a bright future for good people but you start off by repaying The Gambia its dues.
Well, I would commend Omar Njie for taking the time for his comments, but i must say, we should not be at this time as gambians tearing each other apart. This is not the time to be divisive. Whatever Mr. Amadou Samba’s intentions are in dumping Jammeh are best known to him, and at this point in time, we must give him the benefit of the doubt.
I think reactions like this do more harm than good, we should be encouraging people to join the cause for a “New Gambia” not second guessing their intentions. The truth no matter how long it takes, will come out.
Even if what you are trying to hightlight Omar is founded, i believe the timing is wrong. “The right thing at the wrong time gives undesired results”.
Our focus right now, as a people and all the online media right now is to come up with constructive ideas and discussion on how to move our nation forward. What are the sectors of our society and economy that would need fixing, that should be our focus. Not attacking each other. Just my thoughts.
Kawsu
Anyone except Amadou Samba can be accepted in the new Gambia.
This man has lied to Jammeh stolen Gambias money. When the revelation of the sale of the oil blocks come out you would know the magnanimity of his crimes.
Amadou if he was daring enough he should have stayed in gambia and written that letter than be a coward and go to Dakar and act all big and write a letter proclaiming business 35 years.
His first major contract was with CSE. After that it was with Jammeh’s government that made him. Prior to that we can give you deals he made with Standard Bank.
In short Amadou writing a Jammeh step down letter means zero in this reconciliation.
Amadou has made families weep by people being jailed because of his lies. Do you think if sidia bayo was in Gambia he would be alive today because of an incident that happened in Dakar provocated by Amadou Samba.
He ran away but he cannot hide with our money.
Kawsu we talking hundreds of millions of dollars more than Gambias budget. What this one man stole can pay some of Gambias debt.
Anyway I shall leave the matter till the right time. Amadou knows the truth he cannot bury.
Malick Mboge REVEALED…
For all the readers, please ignore the message from this false individual claiming to be Omar Njie as these are all dubious and blatantly false stories from a deranged individual.
We have credible evidence that the man (Omar Njie) who posted on this website is Mr. Malick Mboge, a former associate and mentee of Mr. Amadou Samba, who absconded Gambia after defrauding Mr. Samba and several local banks in the tune of over 300 million dalasi.
Malick has never returned to Gambia as he has a warrant for his arrest and is facing several court judgements of fraudulent activities in Gambia and Senegal. Mr Mboge, we are fully aware of all the postings you have made on various Gambian online websites with various aliases and be rest assured, we are in the process of serving you legal proceedings for the defamation and character assassination and importantly fraudulent activities you conducted in Gambia.
You are an embarrassment to your family and Gambia, and you have been discovered and exposed, and will face the full letter of the law.
I think this Omar Njie appears to be Malick Mboge. He is obsessed with Amadou Samba and is bring in his agenda to this site. Instead of commending Amadou Samba for taking the bold decision to put Gambia First, he is dredging up allegations without any proof. This is a shameful act as Malick was raised like a son by Amadou Samba. His extravagant lifestyle eventually bankrupted him and he is now left with huge debts to settle in Gambia. He is erroneously blaming Amadou Samba for his troubles and trying to bring the man down instead of commending him life Michael Scale did. Being appreciative of what someone has done for you like Scale is doing is the hallmark of human decency.
Malick however has always been a liar and deceitful person. I really hope that Amadou Samba initiates court action against him asap to teach him a lesson.
I read with astonishment this interesting accusation by Oliver and Samba Family Member.
Whoever you are I can tell you a couple of things.
Alhamdoulilah for long life. Amadou I believe if you ask him who I am can never on the face of this planet say that I am obsessed with him rather I think he will come up with a more positive answer than this silly personal statement.
Another thing that is a misstatement is i think whoever put in your head and mind that i left Amadou with debts you have been swayed with lies and zero facts. I put my properties for guarantees that fell flat for the income stream which Amadou and i know where should have been coming from and will be revealed in due course of time.
Do not panic ‘family member’ anything on the internet about Amadou the finger is pointed at me. Enough is enough. Amadou’s friends, associates and people that have issues with him that is a matter for him to deal with and not my problem.
I guess anything that happens to him is me. Astakfirulah. Believe in the Almighty and leave me alone.
Amadou and I did business yes if whatever he said about me behind my back in Gambia dina lerr. We both have our records so we shall know in the not so distant future what is what.
By the grace of Allah and the almighty I shall state for anyone that I left Gambia for the same reasons Amadou left Gambia today personal fear.
I can tell you I will return to Gambia Inshallah and records do not lie. I have my records and we shall see where the truth is. If the environment was right and fair why would I risk my assets.Amadou’s assets were not touched even though we did business together. Get your facts correct and if you are close to him ask him how come only my assets were touched. This is another matter.
Amadou knows the relationship we had. I think I can challenge anyone including Amadou to prove to me if he has ever given me a single butut into any business or personal.
I think Whoever this family member is be sure to have my address as we live in a free world and I will ever walk high and believe the truth will always come out.
Get something right since I left Gambia i have not had time or energy to be involved in this online mess or conversation.
Simply I have and will never get involved in online media apart from this personal response.
Keep it simple the day we are in The Gambia we shall know who is telling a lie and who is telling the truth.
Life style my friend is a choice. Eat sleep work eventually we all go to the next world. One thing is power belongs to Allah alone. I can assure you ‘family friend’ you seem to be caught with emotions and at a high dose of shortage in power descending to you probably.
Amadou leaving Gambia is his choice and not my problem he has his life to live and the rest like all of us.
I will not get personal out of respect but ask a little about me to know me. Patience is the key to this life. If you have patience you will see a lot and learn a lot.
I forgive you that you had made these silly and irresponsible statements about me but one thing I can tell you is to say to teach him a lesson, I am waiting for any writ or summons. I suggest you find out who is having this issue with Amadou count me out of your crap.
If I want to tell Amadou something I will tell him as I have seen him here in London before at Bond Street and on Edgware Rd and said hello. So get out of your emotions whoever you are.
Life goes on.
‘Family friend’ I think you are dreaming and in fools paradise. Wake up pal. Game over. I will be in Gambia Inshallah in 2017 and we shall see in a free and fair environment where the dice will end up what is what.
Power is only with Allah. We are born weak, get older, we work, we age, we get weak again and then back to Allah.
Whoever you are connect with your inner self and leave me alone because I don’t think it would be to your advantage to wake me up.
Ask Amadou if you want to know me rather than make flimsy accusations about me.
I wish every Gambia a happy new year and see you in Gambia 2017.
Glad to see the fraud has been exposed to the online media. You notice he never denied posting all these unfounded and scandalous articles on Mr. Samba. Thank you for your long explanation Mr Mboge and finally acknowledging the fake fraud you are, embarrassment is an under statement. Glad to see Omar Njie alias is gone, even simple internet deception is difficult for you, really is this how low you have become…
If you claim to be innocent, why are you fearful of returning to Gambia, surely it has nothing to do with politics does it?!? Please save us from your hoodwinks and frankly your shameful diversions are ridiculous and embarrassing. The summons will be upon you shortly and look forward to seeing if you are man enough to go to court. Or will you be on the run again, you coward…
And please refrain from mentioning Allah, if you have any dignity left, please keep the ONE above from your shamelessness. We look forward to seeing you in Gambia in 2017, but I will not bet on it as you are a joke….Cowards die many times before their deaths
Who ever you are Oliver read and search the truth within yourself.
My name and address I can furnish for anyone any time. I do not need to or have cause to hide behind names. That is for the weak.
I guess I am not the only one that feared injustice and left Gambia due to what was being said in order to sacrifice me at the expense of profit.
Mr Oliver or whoever you are hiding to be. Get this Mr. I fear Allah and no living man. At the time of leaving Gambia it was based on my personal security.
I don’t speak for no one and thus will not respond to your wild accusations. I can sit here and drum up names but I don’t have that streak of wasted matter.
I suggest you figure out your problem before passing the buck.
But get one thing straight out of respect I had promised the one person that I respect not to discuss Amadou. So like I said previously do not wake me up.
In my case unlike the Omar person. Remember Amadou and I have worked together as opposed to your claim of mentee relationship. So I know him and have kept this a private matter to date.
I think if I ever released the information facts that I have you will bury yourself. Whoever you are. Simply thank me for my silence and once again stop before you get bitten.
If I left Gambia was that being a coward or personal security. Did Amadou leave Gambia not for the same reason. Trust me it’s better to be safe than sorry.
It seems this failed entourage follower must admire me. Mr get something straight, if we lived in a place like England Marshallah you think drummed up crap because of power can be made up against individuals. Brother know that prayers is what moves my wheel and walahu yasimuka mina Nas.
I read you badly written whatever with laughter because it amazes me that you have so much panick and fear. Suma Waye gomal Yallah.
My advice to your group or cabudu amlen fidah. Yen aye mag gen. Sit on those prayer mats and pray than waste your energy on me who hardly remembers you exist because you do not matter for me to even consider.
How come all those commentary about Mr Samba you did not point down my path. I guess then you would spend years on an irrelevant matter.
Do you think I am one of those loose cannons or ignorant individuals that you can scare. Like I told you the law is here for everyone and anyone especially England. Gambia Inshallah 2017. So I dear you to bring it on. Seek advice before you pen to me again.
Like I told you I respect Amadou. If you want peace for him and let him deal with his issues leave me alone because if you get me started it will not be the best.
I trust you look for your issues with people you have problems with especially this Mr Omar.
Do I know or care who you your family people deal with. Go figure your crap out.
I am a matured person to the extent that I don’t care what people say res ipsa loquitur.
All I can say is 2 know the 3rd doesn’t. Direct wollof translation.
This is the last time I will respond because of the personal nature of this but know that like I said dont let me put my guard down on a chapter that I had closed.
Malick Mboge
I agree with Oliver that you have revealed your true identity unintentionally. If you truly respected Amadou Samba like you claim, you would not be making malicious and unfounded allegations against him all around the internet.
Your constant and tiring repetition of “Allah this” and “Allah that” reminds us of the tactic of common con men. It is very dishonorable to be using Allah’s name in such a disgusting manner. Please save us the Arabic incantations and speak the truth.
You in fact used to work at Deloitte as an employee where your performance was subpar. Amadou in fact did mentor you as you have never in your life been an entrepreneur. Amadou gave you your chance in life and you are now repaying him by painting yourself as an equal partner. People who know you warned Amadou against opening his door to you and alas, they were proved right in their caution.
You are upset that Amadou rightfully wrote to Yaya Jammeh asking him to respect the will of the Gambian people. He did this out of a sense of duty, honor and patriotism and this has cost him a lot. This selfless sacrifice is respected by all and sundry except by lowlifes like yourself who probably lack that innate sensibility of honor, duty, and loyalty. Your pomposity is what laid you low not Amadou and not someone else. You made a series of mistakes and lived beyond your means. Recognize this and start to make amends.
The best thing that you can now do is it to apologize publicly for all the wrongs you have done to this man and start taking corrective measures rather than making idle threats. We hope that you will in 2017 turn a new page in making amends.
Mr. Amadou Samba,
Stop!! You are behaving like a DROWNING MAN – lashing out everywhere at everybody!! What is it? You feel POWERLESS?? Can’t send NIA to arrest Malick or Dida – and that is really killing you?
CHILLAX Man! At least under Barrow no one will send you to Mile 2 – remember when you used to smoke like crazy and drink black coffee to cover up the fear that Jammeh’s NIA may grab you any time?? You are OK man, comfortable hotel (Not 7-Star LoL) and OLIVER to keep you company.
I have asked Sedia Bayo to stay away from your hotel and he has agreed.
No Mr. Samba, you can’t stop people talking about what you did. A million words will be written about that. A dozens of court cases will be started against you – not least by banks and institutions seeking millions of their money.
But really, just relax – and stop splashing about madly like a DROWNING MAN – waterside lifeguards will tell you that splashing about will make things worse.
Luntango.
Malick,
Ignore these crooks. They won’t DARE sue anyone because that would shine a light on their criminality. One of the last things “the Alkalo of Mile 2”, the late Baba K Jobe said to me was this:
“Dida, how can they go to a judge’s house in the middle of the night, and have judgements signed by a judge WITHOUT A COURT HEARING, to take away people’s property?”
That must be the first thing the Gambia’s New President must demand an answer to from Amadou Samba, Chairman of the Judicial Services Commission under Jammeh.
Oscar winner stop jumping up and down.
Omar,
He ain’t “winning” no Oscars! Trust me. Omar, I want your full dossier on Amadou Samba – EVERYTHING. I am working on A BOOK about Amadou Samba and Yahya Jammeh entitled “DICTATOR’S MANAGER” – and I want every little thing. Of course, the book may help those who may wish to sue too.
Any of my online publishers will forward your e-mail to me.
Bless You.
Send me your email address so I can be in contact.
If the cap fits wear it. Cast your mind to the day of nomination. We met as soon as you parked your car.
There are times you would mask by using your pick up.
Why did you leave The Gambia?
What is the real reason for writing a letter like that when you managed HE?
Why did you not hand deliver it?
What are you controlling now from Senegal?
Mr Manager did you resign or abruptly disappear?
What was your job description?
How did you execute it to the best of your ability?
At the end of the current political standoff, we need a robust infrastructure in The Gambia. Our urban streets/roads should be properly and decently build, particularly in Serrekunda and the surrounding areas. Walking in most of our urban streets feels like being surrounded by a muddy lake during the summer and windy desert in the spring. This is an economic as well as public health concern.
Not with the likes of Mr Manager. Free Gambia from Mr Manager. Where is our money? Pay The Gambia its millions of dollars.
The biggest mistake Mr Manager made was to double cross HE. He helped you and built you.
Pay with gratitude not in selfish ways.
You drank, sleep and ate together now you want him to sink and you float.
Another step of destroy and desert and fabricate lies to stand alone. Mr Manager.
MESSAGE TO AMADOU:
You spent the last day of 2016 at your computer THREATENING to sue everyone!
Please SUE me! Sue Dida Halake! A few points (since you have been a businessman out of legal practice for 22 years):-
1. Any letter your lawyer sends to Dida Halake c/o Kairo News will, I will accept in court, be deemed to be properly served – provided your lawyer can be traced through the Law Society Register here in the UK … I do not want a letter from a ghost untraceable Panama Lawyer.
2. Please ensure that your letter is a properly pleaded and detailed Pre-Action Protocol Letter (NOT A RANTING “DESIST” THREAT!!!). A detailed and properly pleaded letter which shows you have legal grounds to make a claim will be answered (with a counter-claim if necessary). Rantings that disclose no known legal infringement will not be answered (remember your “sedition” charge against me through the blessed and reluctant IGP Ben Jammeh?)
3. Please also ensure that at the end of the pre-action protocols (a “must” in UK or costs will be awarded against you) you must issue the standard N1 Part 7 Claim Form. This is not Yahya Jammeh’s Gambia where secret court judgements are given. Should you get an ex-parte middle of the night judgement, I will use this post as evidence and obtain a Set-Aside Order.
4. Once you send me your N1 Claim form, I shall send you and the court an Acknowledgement of Service within 21 days.
I shall this week tell you about the Nigerian Amadou Oil Block sales.
No person is smarter than the truth.
Dida’s email dedicated to Amadou Stuff is:
SAMBAGATE2017@GMAIL.COM
Mr. Omar Njie and Mr. Malick Mboge (and others with Amadou Info.),
First, Happy New Year all. Inspite of Jammeh’s “fight” rant in Banjul, I believe he WILL leave peacefully and Amadou Barrow will be inaugurated peaceful.
Second, please COPY and information about Amadou Samba that you may send to on-line papers (and information that you may be keeping to yourself) to me at SAMBAGATE2017@GMAIL.COM – don’t forget the 2017 as someone else is using the name sambagate. Alternatively, just ask the editors to post it to me.
Happy and Peaceful 2017 again.
Dida Halake.
We should ask for Amadou’s lawyers email and contact details to send them all information to make it easy for them.
Really saddened to see this dialogue ensuring… Is this the vision of Gambia we are hoping for the future. The dictator is not even gone yet we are fighting and bringing in personal grievances?? Is this really new Gambia?? I wish Didi, Omar and whom ever can focus on bringing in solutions to help our new Gambia, do you realise, we need to be constructive and find partnerships to effect change. Ask Mohammed Morsi or Buhari, what the net result of going after the previous govts had on their country, correct me if I am wrong but both Egypt and Nigeria are yet to soar again??? Revenge and ‘angry’ justice, never build a bridge or developed a school, unity and constructive collaboration brought hope and true change.
I don’t know about Amadou Samba nor his dealings, but what I do know, is we need everyone on deck, especially someone with his experience and resources. Think big my comrades, not pettiness but pragmatism and realism. His letter was bold and welcoming for the cause! What would you have preferred for him to continue to support the dictator and encourage him to fight to the end. If really our intention as Michael Scales mentions in his well written piece, is to wish well for Gambia given our love for the country, surely the above is not productive.
There will come a time when recriminations and due process will be followed and people held accountable, but my brothers this is truly not the time. We have a very dangerous situation boiling in Gambia, which could result in many lives lost and we are worried about going to court about matters that are not relevant. Please I plead on behalf of anyone who loves Gambia, cares about Gambia lets follow the route of our great Pan African leader Nelson Mandela, to forgive not forget and focus on the bigger plan to rebuild our beautiful homeland, which belongs to all of us. Omar, Malick, Didi, Amadou, all of us…
Samba Family Friend
of Amadou Ambdoulie Samba
You agreeing to Oliver or whoever has no merit or importance to me as I could really careless because you and your cabudu are idle talkers and are a waste of time to me.
You talk about respect. The context I used it was privacy of relationship. But I looked at your comment yet again callous fabrications.
Which bank or individual has the capacity of 300million Dalasi. What a bloody lie can you prove with records. Better yet if you identify yourself I shall sue you to your last penny. Let Your friend Amadou stop telling stories and be a grown man he is out of Gambia the first step to being forgiven for his wrongs in Gambia is to start telling the truth and being honest.
Family member your friend Amadou had in the past made irresponsible, misstatements and untrue statements about me for no reason but to discredit me.
Advise him to show proof or stop it otherwise like I have said he will be embarrassed if I should start and talk is cheap. Just do the world a favor and show proof if he has any at all.
You or Oliver why not prove what you are saying with paper facts that talk talk. Better yet have guts to write with facts than that gestapo style of using alias such as mediator etc ask Amadou what that means. Sending documents to courts putting ‘mediator’ instead of your real name. Ki munut ma tital do you get it.
My mention of Allah is because I am a stronger believer than you because I do not need to sacrifice a cow or animals before I travel. I just say Bisimila and go. I trust Allah that is why I quoted for you things you may not have a clue of. Advise your friend to have trust in the Almighty than going round talking crap and threatening people. Ask him if me I am or will ever be scared of his or his cabudus threats. The story of Yusuf and patience brother cause we shall know the truth soon.
I shall laugh your claim of subpar at Deloitte. When you have leader tendency you cannot be led. I have excellent relationship with Deloitte so count them out of your crap.
You family member must be a special character. Chance is from Allah. I guess then when Allah said your friend Amadou would win a contract then whoever was the one awarding contracts gave him a chance; very interesting.
Facts for you. The first supplier credit I had in Gambia was from an exceptional businessman a true person and good man whom I will never bring his name into this based outside of Gambia a true and honest person. Ask Amadou if he has ever guaranteed me or open a facility on my behalf. Simply just show it or state it. You will never be able to show it because if is a fabrication. Family friend stop telling lies or identify yourself and I shall sue you for defamation.
Ask Amadou if I was not the one that introduced him to real players in london that in turn he benefited from such. E.g. The guys he uses in Knightsbridge. I shall keep this a secret because yaw hamulo darra mom Hanna.
Family friend Amadou owes me unpaid invoices and materials he would take on behalf of the President and never pay e.g. Iron rods over D1million for Gunjur mosque. And he will say oh I cannot ask him you know. I am 100% sure Mr Manager received my money and never paid as usual. In the right time I shall list for you if you challenge me. This is just a tip of the iceberg. Do you think defrauding people and using power will work now. Sa doleh Jenna teh dingma fey and give back every asset you took from me and put in another name. Ask him if he did not send his uncle to my father to say he does not owe me and vice versa and I said wrong he owes me.
Family friend ask if last year he did not buy a channel bag from Harrods and rent an apartment for someone in Dakar. That’s his life and not my problem but I say it so you know that I have hung out with Amadou so Family Friend chill. Life style is pour lor bouga.
I am telling you Family Friend to tell Amadou and his cabudu to get my name off their mouths and stop the fabrications and malicious bad mouthing.
Simply if you have anything to justify what you claim show it or shut up.
At Mustapha; and Samba family member
Yours are the only comments worth my time.
I think if true civilised expectations are to ensue post Jammeh, those who have missused the internet to make baseless and unfounded allegations of those whose remit was to make good business and pay taxes, employ, manage and make reasonable profits, will be the death nell for Gambia’s infant democracy. For democracy to work it needs ready cash. Those who call the kettle black also worked with Jammeh taking his gold pieces and biscuits, only to fall well short of what The “Wizard of Oz”….was asking. This impasse is not good for Jammeh or Barrow, The only casualty will be Democracy,,,and the peoples long lost free will. Let us remain steadfast and calm. Let peace reign and let suspicions die in the shadows from which they came. Jammeh will go. He has no choice. No judge can superimpose the confirmed will of the Gambian people. No new election can overturn what the people have decided. I cannot see Jammeh getting more votes, next time as the people have tasted freedom. Jammeh should step down and get the best deal for his families well being. If a shot is fired Jammeh’s end would not be a comfortable one. His time is over….he needs to get smart and quick. Mr Samba and FJC and his foreign diplomats,,,are true and risk taking hero’s Jammeh is reduced to his NIA thugs…taking tee shirt baring children to his torture cells…Its over for Jammeh….he can no longer count on the GAF, They are the nations disciplined soldiers tasked with the peoples safety.Let them be the true soldiers with a difference. Let them wipe clean the mistake of 1994 and return the will of the people to The National Assembly. Let the only weapons of State be the words of cross party argument and support by majority decision.
Lets come together and not fall back into this dark period of human history. Lets go forward and wipe these NIA thugs from Gambian soil…forever.
God is with us.
Time and tide wait for no man.
You will only see parking and speeding violations.
I can reveal for certain the following facts:
That Amadou used Chucks and orchestrated cases against the same company he was involved in.
He offered to pay one of my colleagues for cases.
He got Bank PHB to rent his building because of Malick.
Amadou was receiving money every month to his Ecobank account.
There is no money ever from Amadou.
He offered to pay my colleague over D10 million.
I will publish the story I am privy to soon.
