Gambia’s Ambassador To Mauritania Presents Letter Of Credence

(JollofNews) – The newly appointed Gambian ambassador to Mauritania, Mawdo C. Juwara, has presented his letters of credence to President Mohamed Ould Abdel Aziz of Mauritania.

During his audience with President Aziz, Ambassador Juwara avails himself of the opportunity to express his thanks and gratitude to the Mauritanian president for receiving him in so short a period after his arrival in the beautiful city of Nouakchott and conveyed to him and through him to the entire people of Mauritania, very warm and fraternal greetings and best wishes from President Adama Barrow.

Ambassador Juwara in the same vein conveyed President Barrow’s ardent desire and resolve to further strengthen the fraternal and friendly historic ties between the peoples of the Gambia and Mauritania as well as the need to enhance the existing areas of bilateral cooperation and expand its scope in possible new avenues for the mutual benefit of the two sides.

In the same vein, President Aziz extended a good will message to President Barrow and the people of the Gambia.

He also underscored the importance of the fraternal and historic ties between the peoples of the two countries.

  1. What happened to O’s. Amb Bia Secka. He is a true Gambian, very professional and pleasant in all my dealings with him. I hope Mr Darboe will keep experienced apolitical career men and women in our diplomatic Corps. Just because someone chose to serve the country during Yahya Jammeh rule does not make them complicit in his criminal enterprise.
