The Gambian ambassador to Qatar, Foday Malang, Tuesday presented his letters of credence to the Qatari minister of state for Foreign Affairs, Sultan Bin Saad Al Muraikhi for onward transmission to the Emir of Qatar and the diplomatic community in Doha.
During the meeting, the Gambian envoy revealed his commitment to further strengthen the cooperation between the Gambia and Qatar, focusing on economic, diplomatic and political development.
For his part, Sultan Bin Saad Al Muraikhi assured of closer cooperation on all fronts, adding that Qatar will support The Gambia in a bid to promote bilateral relations.
