In my last article published by the North Carolina-based Freedom Newspaper on the plight of the Africans in China, racially persecuted for “causing the coronavirus pandemic” there, I suggested the need for African governments to exert pressure on the Chinese government to be more responsible and dispel the preposterous-state-orchestrated stigma targeting our people.
However, in his comments one of my readers Mr. Babooucarr Jiteh Bojang shared a good pointer for our leaders and the AU to collectively urge President Xi Jinping to directly take up the matter. I cannot agree with Mr. Bojang more; one televised address by President Xi to his brainwashed subjects telling them that Africa has nothing to do with the coronavirus which has been identified by China’s leading virologist Shi Zhengli to have originated from horseshoe-cave bats being eaten from their wild-life markets will be enough to change the misconception.
However, while I don’t expect President Xi to willing do so for fear of the political backlash in China, I also have little faith in our African leaders or the AU to muster the courage to even tell him.
On a more serious assessment, I am now convinced that tackling this calamitous pandemic should even be the responsibility of the UN Security Council, responsible for maintaining world peace and security.
The global danger posed by China’s recklessness and their habitual secretiveness deeply-rooted in their communist system of government is becoming an existential threat to humanity more frightening than the effects of climate change.
COVID-2, or the Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) disease emanated in Guangdong Province of China in late November 2002 from one of the 5000 strains of coronaviruses found in a species of cave bats that infected 8100 and killed 800 people before the World Health Organization (WHO) got the wind of the pandemic and alerted the world in April 2003. It was a strain that had killed mostly Chinese and Vietnamese people under 18 and above 65 years old. The virus was however traced to their wildlife or wet markets selling bats, civets, pangolins and crocodiles, a quintessential viral fusion jar.
If the WHO had not mustered the audacity, which would have of course been a dereliction of duty, and alerted the world, the SARS could have wrecked a similar or greater havoc to the world like COVID-19.
The Chinese had falsely assured the world of legislating a ban against these “wet markets”; but with their consumption and trade worth of $76 billion dollars and providing 14 million jobs, banning it they argued would have driven the market underground because of its source of food for most Chinese for thousands of years. It’s like their failed attempt to outlaw their dog meat abattoirs.
In 2003 the SARS disease killed only 800 people and we moved on with the world fully aware of the defiant communist government reopening the toxic wet-markets after briefly closing them. It had by then been already confirmed by scientists that the cave bats the Chinese were devouring again in millions have thousands of deadly strains of coronaviruses waiting to infect them.
In 2019, this novel strain with baffling idiosyncrasy erupted again from totalitarian China and in five months infected over 3 million people and killed over 200,000 worldwide and is still killing. Even without the intervention of the UN Security Council, if this shouldn’t be a major concern to the UN office on Genocide Prevention, I don’t know what should.
We all know how the Chinese government tried to hide the pandemic from the world, punishing and even killing their independent-minded doctors attempting to sound the alarm to the world from Wuhan. In fact, the Wuhan community almost exploded into riots before the government started taking necessary measures.
By the time the world knew of the carnage that could have been controlled within their borders with the intervention of the WHO and other world epidemiologists like in the case of the Ebola pandemic in West Africa in 2014, thousands of infected Chinese had already left Wuhan to spread the virus globally. Thousands more had already gotten sick and died.
In fact secret reports coming from China revealed more Chinese deaths than the 4600 reported by the government. Wasting the lives of 40,000 or 50,000 of their inhabitants as estimated from a population of 1.4 billion people is negligible to the ungodly authorities, as long as the rigged communist government is kept orderly. It is about time we are mindful of the Akus adage that says: first fooled na fool, second fool na fool but third fool na bastard.
How many more times are we going to respond to other deadly pathogen arising from China before the deadliest comes and exterminate mankind?
I don’t expect our African leaders or the AU to join the fight in addressing the threat posed by their unsustainable and archaic communist system of government perpetuated by a group of family members and their trusted lackeys in this 21st Century but I expect the whole world to start challenging its existence for an immediate change before it leads to our extinction. To prolong this illegal system the Chinese are not only killing us but are in the notorious vanguard destroying earth’s ecological system.
Saddam Hussain and Muammar Gaddafi were not as genocidal or ecologically-destructive like the Chinese but were killed on the disingenuous pretext that they were not democratic enough and were threats to world peace and security. Let us be honest people, who is more undemocratic and deadlier to humanity than Xi Jinping and his communist comrades?
The Taliban government of Afghanistan was overthrow and Osama Bin Laden eventually killed for attacking the World-Trade Center in New York City where 3000 people mainly Americans were killed in a single day. With 55,000 people virtually murdered in America by the Chinese virus, the figure more or less equals to 18 consecutive days of attacking and killing the 9/11 occupants of the twin towers.
Accordingly, the last time America suffered this magnitude of economic downturn precipitated by the COVID-19 pandemic was during the great depression of 1929. So trust me, if nothing serious is done now, the next coronavirus from communist China will end our existence as homo sapiens.
Considering the global human lives directly lost to the disease, its collateral damage in terms of emotional trauma that is causing more suicides than normal, breaking homes and marriages, destroying jobs and bankrupting profitable institutions, I believe the UN ought to give President Xi Jinping an ultimatum of either opening up China to more scrutiny or face an expulsion from the world organization.
The tolerance may have been justifiable until it becomes a threat to our existence. Notwithstanding, If no significant action is taken, but China allowed to continue conducting business as usual then the conspiracy theory being advocated that this is all about a capitalist scheme for the pharmaceutical industries to ultimately manufacture millions or billions of vaccines for mandatory inoculation by all humans at cutthroat prices will be hard to impugn.
African governments must prepare and hand over a reparation bill to the Chinese government from the damages inflicted to the continent that should cancel all debts ever owed to these Mongoloids.
