Good morning your Excellency,
You see, Power woo power!
Sir I greet you, just want to remind you that we fought against a system not individuals or group of people. Otherwise you would not have those same faces around you.
What we fought against was a system where an executive controlled the legislature and thus twisted our judiciary that willingly became its bull dog, using every arm trampling on our democracy like a football ping pong ping pong.
Now with this draft under your captainship, once addopted and passed into law, Gambia would be heading in the right direction and Gambians would begin regaining hope. Insahllah our people would begin having real power to the people for the people and by the people.
That is the reason I write to you this morning appealing to your excellency to accept the draft as it is and encourage all your surbodinates to whole heartedly support it. Trust me I do not hate you.
Here is a great opportunity for you sir. I keep hearing you saying your legacy your legacy! Well here is a great legacy for you and your government. Once it becomes law without any changes, it would become a great achievement for your excellency and team.
OMG I wish I could whisper in your ears this morning not to allow anyone taint such an achievement that is hovering over state House singing your name:
“Ally Barrow bula Ayalla dookuwo kee, Ally Barrow bulla Aya la dokuwo labang”
This would mould a Gambia that would carry your signature till eternity paving way for the best Gambia we’ve all been shouting for.
Your Excellency President Barrow sir, please I beg, do this one thing for me, tell your executive you don’t want anyone to speak on your behalf on anything concerning this draft. Tell them discriminating you as an individual is immaterial to you sir. Tell them you want it passed the way it is. I remember you said Gambia is not about you or any individual but its people. That’s who I always believed you are. This draft gave power to the people of the Gambia allow them to have it and your dokuwo would labang!
Thank you
Edomaa
