Dependable sources have informed Jollofnews that Alkali Conteh could leave the country any time soon for his diplomatic assignment.
The senior NPP official could any time soon travel to Turkey where he will replace Rtd. Col. Serign Modou Njie as Gambia’s ambassador, sources told JollofNews.
In another but similar development, NPP official Fabou Sanneh has also been reportedly cleared by Saudi authorities for his new role as Chief of Mission at the Gambia’s diplomatic service in Riyadh.
“They can travel out to their duty stations any moment from now,” a reliable source told JollofNews.
When asked how soon, our source said:” I’m not sure when they will exactly set out but I can tell you very soon because they’re all in receipt of their confirmation letters.”
Both Conteh and Sanneh could not be immediately reached for comment (s).
