Gov’t Yet To Spell Out Response Plan For 11/11 Demos

The Gambia government has yet to be clear on its response to next Friday’s planned mass protests but if the government spokesperson’s position is anything to go by, then protesters should start bracing up for the worse.

Ebrima G. Sankareh suggested on Coffee Time With Peter Gomez this morning that since the protests organizers were not given a permit to carry on with their nationwide demonstrations, the response from the police could be anybody’s guess.
