President Barrow To Proceed On Annual Leave After Official Provincial Engagements

The Public is hereby informed that Adama Barrow, President of the Republic of The Gambia, will depart Banjul on Thursday, 28th September 2023, for a series of engagements in rural Gambia.

On 30th September 2023, the President will inaugurate the North Bank Lot 2 Saloum and Nianija Roads Project at Chamen Nianija at 3:00 P.M. On Monday, 2nd October 2023, he will inaugurate the 24 km Pavement of the Trans-Gambian Highway at the Misira – Kerr Ali border community at 12:00 noon.

In separate engagements, President Barrow, in his capacity as Secretary-General and Party leader of the National People’s Party – NPP, will on Friday, 29th September 2023, open the NPP CRR South Regional Bureau in Bansang while the CRR North Regional Bureau situated at Sinchu Jenung will be inaugurated on Sunday, 1st October 2023 at 3:00 P.M.

On Tuesday, 3rd October 2023, the President will also open the NPP Regional Bureau at Jarra Soma in the Lower River Region.

At the end of his week-long engagements, President Barrow will proceed on his annual leave from 4th October to 8th November 2023 at his home village of Mankamang Kunda.

The public is informed that, Vice President Muhammed B Jallow, will oversee engagements of the Office of the President, and all communications should be addressed to the Chief of Staff, Office of the President, State House, Banjul.

The Office of the President wishes the President a successful week and a restful vacation.
