Philanthropist and millionaire entrepreneur Dr. Abubakary Jawara has lifted the spirits of farmers in Gambisara Ward in the Upper River Region (URR) as he bequeathed a D100,000 cash donation to fire victims in Gambisara Ward.
Ten farm lands were completely destroyed recently as wildfire raged the community leaving several individuals who lost their means of livelihood devastated. The affected farmers were also facing financial, emotional, and psychological distress.
However, recognising the urgency and significance of providing immediate support, Dr. Jawara immediately chipped in and contributed a substantial amount to assist the victims.
The GACH CEO’s contribution was aimed at providing much-needed relief and support to those affected by the unfortunate incident.
Significantly, the support extended by Dr. Jawara illiterates the spirit of compassion and community solidarity in times of crisis. It serves as a testament to the generosity and benevolence of individuals who step up to address the needs of the most vulnerable in society.
The inventiveness was facilitated by Gambisara Ward Councilor Muhammed Dukureh, who ensures that each affected individual received ten thousand dalasi (D10,000) to alleviate their suffering.
