President Barrow Grants Clemency To 37 Inmates

Gambia’s Adama Barrow has granted pardon to 37 prisoners scattered across the country’s correctional facilities.

The Interior Ministry released late Friday evening a list containing the name of pardoned inmates but remained mute about the prison facility they are coming from.

The targeted inmates were set free under section 82 of the 1997 Constitution and are expected to join their respective family in the coming hours.
