Dependable sources have informed JollofNews that the order for the cancellation of all demolitions from the Office of the Sheriff was issued by Appeals Court judge Justice Omar Njie and acted on by the deputy Sheriff Daniel Manneh.
People, who went to the courts after feeling that their landed properties were illegally developed, could not enjoy the fruit of the judgement delivered in their favour as Justice Njie allegedly applied the brakes on all the demolitions.
“The order for the cancellation of all the demolitions came from Justice Njie,” said one of the source.
“The judge has transcended his powers and authority by ordering the cancellation of all the demolitions from the Office of the Sheriff,” commented another source.
Meanwhile, JollofNews gathered that some of affected people were contemplating going down the legal lane to “enjoy the fruit of their judgement”.
This medium could not reach Justice Njie for comments, despite several attempts.
