Four individuals have been rescued early Wednesday evening after the hole in which they were working at the NAWEC Serekunda branch bogged down, trapping all the four inside.
NAWEC staff and contractors on site responded quickly rescuing all the four, though one of the people, who were buried alive, was medically evacuated.
“The four trapped individuals are among the overworked and underpaid hired labourers, working on the NAWEC water works,” one of the eye-witnesses explained to JollofNews.
