  1. I bet Yaya Jammeh won’t be sitting very comfortable. Congo Brazzaville may be too close a call for Baabilisa Mansa. The noose may be tightening. Mr President, don’t forget to mention the crimes of Yaya Jammeh.

  2. With all the work on the ground in Gambia, what is this man doing in Congo. Do you know how much oil, rice and sugar we can buy for our indigents with the money spent on this trip. Guys you need to start THINKING !

    • Well said my sister, some Gambians think from anus instead of their normal senses. We ve forget about Yaya Jammeh and focus on developing our country. Besides with all atrocities been accuse to Yaya and considering the development he did us is uncountable. Even any other president will be coming power won’t compete Jammeh.
Yaya Jammeh is great man and Allah has already paid him his rewards.

      • It is no doubt you defecate with your mouth. Your kind of insolence made it clear your anus is rented out. A lot of wonders have amazed Gambians over the past 22years. Who knows all the habits that might have been picked up by half-mindedness Gambians of blurred backgrounds at the Kanilai booze parties…. Jammeh too according to many who got close to him, stinks like shit anytime he opens his mouth.
Donkeys like you without brains are part of our society, you will be tolerated and trained.

  3. Give the man a break; He needs a holiday. 8 weeks on 2 weeks off { Just like my GP and 100 grand a year } He seems to like expensive hotels.
Maybe he’s checking out hotel research for the Tourist industry ?

  4. Dr Isatou Sarr,
I’m evaluating your comments with a Standard +A ranking. Thus, I add a capital D to your title. While sober citizens talk substance, the likes of Bax and Mike Scales continue to sit on chaff.
The politicking time is over. I have always lamented the ascension of an incompetent person at the helm of affairs.
Imagine an incompetent doctor to diagnose and carry out surgery. Imagine an incompetent civil engineer to design and construct a dam. The same analogue goes for an incompetent/semi educated president.
There is no space/room for incompetency in this technological era. Only the Almighty Allah’s ordinance suffices, otherwise I’m tempted to say we do not deserve the treatment: a glorified British Argos watchman as Gambia’s “president”.
The Modus Operandi is explicit. He’s being advised to make hay while the sun shines. It’s 3 short years before the sneaky and ungrateful Ousainou Darboe flushes him out. Gambia/Gambians stand to lose in the interim. Nay, The Almighty is Omnipresent/Omnipotent. May He bless us from these blinkers. Ameen.

    • @Babu Soli, you sound like the custodian of the ‘barometer’ of competence in Gambian citizens whilst you’re none other than the Mfdc advocate over The Gambia’s sovereignty, aka Let Heads Roll Down The Ditch’ aka Talk Less And Shed More Blood. One like you, a dunderhead, Aprc die-hard, citizen’s terrorist, pro-sycophancy and lick a dictators ——-, is not likely to understand what civilised politics implies. You evidently fail to realise that, blatant partisanship politics is fading out in the Gambian’s politics. Do you think it’s like before, when the word LOYALTY marks one’s affiliation to a particular party. No!, if you think so. What folks are engaged in now is what is referred to as progressive politicking, whereby opinions, ideals and viewpoints are guided by good reasoning with regards to ‘working’ towards achieving the the happiness and prosperity of the greatest numbers, and not the privatization of a country’s state of affairs into a family entrepreneur. You have a long way to be in this race of a civilised Gambia but as far as there is still life that you were not able to ERADICATE, so obviously there is hope for people like you too.

  5. France and Macky sall’s domination, Dakar Paris first.Uk Nigeria and special freetown or accra will have to waite all depends from Paris and Dakar

  6. Barrow is not proving to be that much and intelligent guy. He looks as if being pushed around. Gee! He didn’t visit Nigeria, Ghana, Liberia or Sierra Leone but Congo Brazzaville. What that hell is the link…..I can bet he is not himself. The transition period needs to be shortened. This guy is totally without an idea. All he is sure of is that he can fly to anywhere he wants. He needs a ‘pat-up’ from the spending spree. He is snoring.

    • Mr Jack don’t forget that our current agenda is made from France and Senegal so French speaking countries are priority , But London Lagos Accra Freetown or Liberia will have to wait maybe after Burkina Faso

      • @#peace=, I have no evidence to say that ‘our’ agenda is ‘made’ from France and Senegal. What I am trying to put forward is my sincere concerns about Barrow’s spendings and types of bilateral relationships but with no contempt in heart. I to want speak to hiscconscience anonymously but not in a hooded-cloak and scythe in hand.

  7. you people talkin of qualification tell me what is the qualification of the Kanilai born if not an ordinary level with the lowest grade Division three with a military police back ground yet you sing praise of him PRESIDENT BARROW shall b here as your PRESIDENT for the next five years I Advice you look for stress free medicine for there is nothing u or even Halifa Salah can do about that

    • Sankaa, Please Simmer Down. This is Not a personal Affair. Stating an elementary school fact that is known is revealing too much of your state of mind. By the way, is Sankaa, the Sankaa of “Cool Runnings”?. I hope you have the egg too. Do what you must with it. However, Simmer Down.

  8. Alhagie lamin drammeh

Very right sanka, what qualifications does yahya jammeh have to lead even a village? I have been seeing the comments of babu soli asking about barrow’s competence. The simple answer is that if a degree holder is incompetent, how about the one with doubtful and unknown senior school certificate, claiming to have done all subjects during his time of study. Support and guide, if you can’t you keep quiet. It’s in sahih bukhari that you must advise and be sincere to every Muslim. If you are jealous or having hatred for whatever reason and you can’t advise then strict to the other saying of the prophet ” if you believe in Allah and the day of judgement then say good or you keep quiet”.

  9. I see the IMF are finger prodding the Gambian chest again? Loans Loans Loans debts debts debts/

Can we see some policies that address the pressing issues of food security through productivity ?

8% inflation and massive embezzlement and debt equals, growing poverty, food scarcity and abject misery/ Gambia needs to break this cycle and produce.

  10. Mike Scales
Well said, Mike. That has always been President Jammeh’s advocacy: annul the vicious circle of entrenched dependency. The millions that are flowing in are lip-tight “aids” that would eventually erode our Gambian-ness and subject us to Western monetary, financial and social policies/syndromes. Nothing to ameliorate our poverty.
Bourne, I’ll come back to answer your nonsense! What progressive politicking are you referring to with a clique of inept and incompetent people at the helm? Get to HELL with your neocolonial assertions!

  11. @Babu Soli, why not grill in hell with your heart of entrenched desire to kill including kids, torture, maim, jail and loot citizens just to feast in what belongs to them, and then to throw away what is left of it to praise singers like Saikuba Babino, kumpa Gawla, wrestlers etc.
You and your boss, Yayah, were once deadly bitter for been denied such aid from the E.U and IMF because of cannibalistic human rights abuse of your regime. Gee! you cursed the diaspora for being the cause to be denied those foreign aid. As far as that venomous state of you and your boss is concerned, all such aid you referred to as ‘dependency entrenching’ are your boss’s private property for his Kanilai family incorporates.

  12. Dr Sarr asks a key question, “With all the work on the ground in Gambia, what is this man doing in Congo. Do you know how much oil, rice and sugar we can buy for our indigents with the money spent on this trip. Guys you need to start THINKING”!
In answer, I’d say, beats me! President Barrow must show leadership by committing to justifying trips abroad. The Congo trip is certainly ill conceived at this point in time.
    Congo Brazzaville of all places??
