Essa Faal, Baba Jah Remanded On D100,000 Bail

Former TRRC Lead Counsel Essa Mbye Faal and comedian Baba Jah have been remanded on a D100,000 police bail.

A man, believed to be Essa Mbye Faal’s brother, was also granted bail after he was charged with assault.

The trio will return to Brusubi police station Monday where they were charged with various offences on Sunday.

Essa Mbye Faal and Baba Jah have been charged with idle, disorderly and prohibition of conduct, contrary to Section 9 of the Public Order Act.

Meanwhile, a man believed to be Faal’s brother has been charged with assault.

The deputy police spokesperson Inspector Alieu Jamanka confirmed the story when contacted.

Essa Mbye Faal and Baba Jah were embroiled in an altercation at around Brusubi on Saturday.
