Who says Kebba Madi Bojang’s yet-to-be registered NDP cannot give President Adama Barrow and his NPP a run for their money?
The strategic political goal that Mr Bojang and his unregistered National Development Party (NDP) achieved in the West Coast Region in the past few days has left jaws dropped, tongues wagging and probably sent NPP strategist into a frenzy.
Take it or leave it, the thinking behind Kebba Madi’s latest strategy against the NPP was to cause a breakdown in the party’s chain of command in parts of the West Coast Region. This is an effective battlefield strategy.
Coordination is key in any battle-planning whether it’s for a tactical or strategic goal, hence one of the few things that a clever commander or general staff would do is to create a Headquarters on the battlefront to coordinate the realization of the tactical or strategic goal.
Though battlefield success may also lie hugely on morale, terrain and capability, proper coordination is a key for victory.
Having eliminated key NPP coordinators and other influential ruling party grassroots mobilizers, Kebba Madi’s political forces can now enter the NPP-held areas in the West Coast Region with little or no resistance. What a clever move!
