Sawaneh’s KVK snatches point at Gent

Ebrima Sawaneh’s KV Kortrijk, also called KVK, surrendered two points, when they carelessly conceded a late free kick allowing their host Gent to equalised in the 92 minute on Friday, in Belgium’s top flight Pro league. The visitors had taken the lead within the first half hour. The home team had a man sent off in the 54th minute giving numerical advantage to KVK. But just as Sawaneh and his side thought they had bagged a sweet victory, a silly foul committed not far from the edge of the KVK box saw Gent equalising with barely a minute left on the clock.
