  2. Insidious and Subliminal Messages and Signs Of Lip Service For “A TRUTH AND RECONCILIATION COMMISSION” aka TRC, From UDP LED REGIME OR The Authorities in the Gambia:

The Frenzy of Arrests and Detentions of the Members of the Jola Ethnic Group of Former President Yaya Jammeh and other Non Mandinka Ethnic Group Gambians and Supporters of the former President Yaya Jammeh’s APRC Party and Recently Members of Former President Yaya Jammeh’s Family is a Matter of National Concern. It appears that the UDP Led Regime wants to Effect their Desired Punitive and Vengeance by Default, while paying Lip Service For A TRUTH AND RECONCILIATION COMMISSION at the Same time. This Insidious and Diabolical approach to Reconciliation and Peaceful Co-exitence by UDP Led Regime and Supporters is Putting the Gambian People on a One Way Road Toward National Conflict and Not Reconciliation or Peaceful Co-exitence the UDP Led Regime Pretend be Interested in

“Authorities in the Gambia have charged eight Support of former President Yaya Jammeh’s APRC Party”….”All accused pleded not guilty and were given $5000.00 bail” by the presiding judge. By this account, it is reasonable to conclude that the accused are charged presumably due to their Party Affliation and less the alleged “crimes” they were charged with. When did the alleged crimes took place? Who are the Complainants or “Authorities in the Gambia” or the alleged victims? To the layman and woman in the Gambian Streets, it is clear as day and night that this is another indication that the UDP LED REGIME of Tri-Pod Presidency of Ousainou Darbo, Mai Fatty and Adama Barrow, are Hell bent on “Witch Hunting By Proxy” Against APRC Supporters and anyone one who appears to Support former President Yaya Jammeh. I am again, making a Modest Plea to the UDP Led Regime of Adama Barrow, Ousainou Darbo and Mai Fatty and especially, the “Overseer” of the Ministry of Justice, Mr. Pa Tambedu to endeavor to exercise Due Process and Equal Protection Before and Under the Law and Dismiss such Insidious and Dehumanizing Behavior not Worthy of the “New Gambia”. Such Witch Hunting Adventures of Selective Arrrests, Detentions and Firings of Predominantly Non Mandinka and Non UDP Party Supporters, are paradoxically what former President Yaya Jammeh and his APRC Regime were and still Accused of by Non other than the UDP Party, Leadership and Supporters. The Irony and Contradictory implications of the False Narratives of Convenience Orchestrated by UDP Led Regime and Supporters need an Application of Breaks for the Sake of Peaceful Co-exitence and Not Revenge and Vengeance. Gambia is too small for such Witch Hunting Adventures of Selective, Arrrests, Detentions and Purgings by the UDP LED REGIME OF THE “#GAMBIA HAS DECIDED”. IF THIS WHAT “#GAMBIA HAS DECIDED”, I am with a Significant certitute sure that the “Silent Majority of Gambians” Have Not Decided with the Intent of the “New Gambia” engaging and enbarking in a Wrong Direction and on a Dangerous Slippery Road of Despotic, Unconstitutional and Nihilist Mode of Governance. To the Authorities in the Gambia, Please Simmer Down and Endeavor to be Habilitative and Less Punitive. Less Ethnocentric Minded and in Practice, but Inclusive. Gambia is more than the Sum Total of One Ethnic Group or Region. One Gambia, One People, One Destiny.

    • Sidi Bojang
Where were you hiding during the last 22 years of abject barbarity against our people in the hands of Jammeh and his evil cohorts? There can’t be any meaningful reconciliation unless justice is seen to be served. All those arrested are accorded their rights under the law of our land unlike during the previous administration of cruel Jammeh, when those arrested are either tortured, raped, disappeared or sometimes fed to crocodiles alive. Sidi Bojang never have any problem with those atrocities committed against our people, but is now crying his eyes out for the few Jola tribesmen who were arrested for their crimes, not because they are Jola or APRC supporter.
I think you and your ilk are those hell bend on creating national conflict by your insidious lies, innuendos and bigotry. The lost of the Jola hegemony or empire must be hard for you Sidi, but its time to move on as the true Gambians are at the helm now.

  3. Sidi; Your beginning to sound like a broken record playing sad sycophantic melodies to your banished idol. He now tends his cabbage patch in his Equatorial wilderness looking rather forlorn, much slimmer and somewhat confused>>> all at Gambian taxpayers expense. May all his seedlings become yellow tomatoes and all his cabbages grow hairy caterpillars.

    • Mike Scales, I beg to differ. I have never voted for or against APRC, never met or spoken to my so-called “Idol” you have selected or appointed for me. Idol worship has never been my plate of Sustenance. I have never voted in the Gambia, nor been a member of any Party in the Gambia. I leave Idol worship to those who how. I am more interested in ending the Vicious cycle of the back and forth Acts of Political and Legal Impunity breeding hatred and divisiveness in a small Nation State such as the Gambia. My family is all over the Political landscape in the Gambia. My father was 100% PPP. However, my Brothers and Sisters, Uncles and Aunts are in as many different Parties as are in the Current Gambia. I have Jola, Fula, Mandinka and Wolof Ethnic Groups in my family. Some by blood and others by marriage. It is not and would be irrational to be what you mistakenly presume and label me as. I will however, for now take your Uninformed assumption under advisement knowing that it is not based on any evidence or foundation. How did you do at the Horse race? Hope it did not have any correlation to your Outburst? It is all a game of Probabilities. Head or Tail, Glass half Full or half Empty. Be well my friend.

    • The reason why Yahya looks slimmer, he does not wear his bulky bulletproof vest anymore..

      • A TRUE!!! A TRUE !!! A TRUE!!! YOU KNOW IT!!! YOUR COMMENT MADE MY DAY!!! THANKS BRO!!!

      • Grim reaper,
You can wear a bullet proof but you need to bathe with clean water so you don’t stink. He used to sweat like a swine. Freaky idiot goes in the rice field pretending to be working with flowing white gowns, as others are being intimidated to slave for him. What a fake***? Damn embarrassing for a country.
Come on man, can’t be a bullet proof making him look like Humpty Dumpty because he has the jujus that’s got him immune to bullets. Am I not right?

    • But Mike, what on earth is cabbage-grown hairy caterpillars gonna taste like??For God sake, I am eating right now and never once in my life ate Chinese cuisine!

  4. Sidi; The horse ran very fast yesterday,, thankyou. More today at York. Like you I am against any kind of witch hunt especially the destructive one at Sintet .General Lang Tambong’s Home village. I enjoy your commentaries/ Keep it up.

I hope you continue to highlight any form of persecution or segregation. One Gambia One people, One nation. But please be aware of those who died or were tortured of disappeared. God Bless.

    • Mike Scales, I feel motivated by your Postings which are not one sided but attempts to be balanced and fair in it’s approach and point of view on a given subject or issue. I am also Motivated by an Equal and Opposite Energy and Interest by the likes of “Natty Naughty” and Company. TRC should Not be Used as a means to Absolve or Emote over the Responsibilities of “Crimes” Committed by anyone be they Mandinka, Jola Fula or Wolof without an Equal and Appropriate Mitigation both Legally and Financially. My Concern is the Current apparent Willingness for the UDP Led Regime Targeting and Selectively Arresting and Detaining Certain Ethnic Group “Suspected Culprits”, while Intentionally, Insidiously and Premeditatingly Ignoring and or Immunizing other Similar Culprits due to their Ethnic Group Affliation. I can point to the Cases of Mr. Sonko, Jatta and Sanyang who were all in a the Police, Prison, NIA and other former President Yaya Jammeh’s APRC Regime’s Leadership Levels and where allegations of Crimes of Maltreatment and Torture were and are being Alleged to have been Committed. However, the Jolas were Arrested or Purged from their Jobs by Firing them, while the Mandinka were and remain left Unmolested. The layman that I am, with no Mitigating Information to Account for the Unequal and Uneven Treatment of these Gambian Citizens, can only arrive at a Rational and Logical Conclusion. That is, the “Jola-ness” of those who are Sonko, Jatta or Sanyang last names is the Yardstick of “Guilt”, while the “Mandinka-ness” of the Others was and remains the Mitigating Variable rendering them Innocent or given the Benefit of Doubt and Not Denied their Freedom. This Unequal and Seperate Treatment of these Gambians that the UDP Led Regime and Supporters are Unwittingly or Incapable of extending to the Jola alleged “Co-Culprits” is Contributing to Divisiveness and a Polarized Society in the Gambia. This Two tier and Dual Unequal Due Process and Equal Protection Before the Law is what All Gambians and indeed the International Community need to be Concerned with and Endeavor to Respond to with Resolve to Mitigate it Peacefully. No Ethnic Group is an Island. Gambia is more than the Sum Total of One Ethnic Group or Region. One Gambia, One People, One Destiny.

      • What a boring heap of self-pity nonsense.
How can one be so shameless even though going by a pen name..
At least if you can summarize all these evasive lies to be precise in your position about Jammeh’s crimes and criminals. Liars are always confused.

  5. Natty dread and Mr Scales thanks. Mr Bojang, like you said is like a broken record. He is quick to condemn the new leadership accusing them of tribalism but I’m yet to see him comment on the barbarism , torture, murder and the blatant thievery of the meagre resources of the country by the previous regime. The article clearly state that the accused were brought to court for allegedly trespassing and assault, I don’t see anything wrong with upholding the rule of law. His accusations are baseless as the accused have got Mandinka names amongst them. My own mothers surname is Jatta , but she can’t speak a word of Jola. The assumption that someone with a jola name is persecuted because of that is nonsensical. Sidi is a bigot who only comes here to bash the coalition, accusing them of all sorts when we all know that Yaya Jammeh was the biggest tribalist who spout out tribal sentiments to divide and set the country alight all in his quest to cling on to power.

  6. Sidi; When you talk about equal rights>>> am listening. But some of the other stuff turns me off. You are a gifted commentator who needs a meaning and direction. Lets support the new Gambia until and when and if we are disappointed.

  7. Jack; Should wet try and taste ? I’ll go first lol

Then again I am a gentleman>>> You can go first/

  8. Sidi; The fast horses got bogged down in the mud at York Yesterday; So I cut and run with a loss of just £20…Today less rain more speed .

Profit and loss account still very healthy this week. + £ 279.68

    • Mike Scales, glad to hear that you more than broke even at the races. I hope that the Political climate in the Gambia and that on the Internet with reference to Gambians who critize or don’t critize the New Regime in the Gambia can mirror the Horse Races. I pray the Politicians and their Supporters would endeavor to weigh the Upside and Downside of the race and Win or Loose Play by the rules (Laws) of the game or race. I pray they would take into account all the elements that Contribute to make a good race horse and race day. And finally, I pray that they would learn to appreciate how and when to recognize their own limitations and the ability of others who may be better positioned to perform better on a given race. Both the Horse race and the race to build a United and Progressive Nation State, the Gambia. The race continues and may your horse (s) never be blinded by the competitions dust. Good luck.

  9. These thieves and criminals calling themselves government, their days are numbered. They will have no where to run and Macky Sall and his chicken soldiers will no doubt get their asses fill with bullets if they attempt to stand our way.
APRC Party have developed this country in all sectors and its developments does not spare anyone.
We are watching every single action they make
We are warriors and will teach the U D P a lesson the world will never forget. Our silence and patience are for reasons and for a special time. The people who ordered the destruction of the Statue and those who distorted it We know them and have all the evidences. A day will come they will regret why they were born human. Let them go ahead.
APRC will never fear any human being. Keep on mad digging.

    • Is da reality,
Fear is in the heart of those who uttered it. A bullet doesn’t make a man brave but makes him indeed a coward. ‘Every man can own a gun’ or machete! It just takes a primitive, inhumane half-minded being to lurk innocents and hurt them with bullets and machetes. The modern art of war is a much more destructive style. It can turn the creepy vagabond’s sanctuary into flat deserts! Just dare not make ‘the people’s’ patience run out.

Its really great to see people of the Gambian society who are well established in their lives without craving for position or identity within the public space.
Gambians I guess, do not desire for a Gambia that has more developed cemented- concretes than developed human resources, who look at themselves like savage warriors in the 21 century. The Gambia is going through a critical and sensitive political process with demonic hidden agendas around that process but the small beautiful republic and it’s peace loving people will prevail. The contemptuous devils in the ‘shadows of the valley of creatures’ will get to their horrible end very soon, once and for all.

    • Is Da Reality, as a Gambian, I am totally against any type of Violence against another Gambian or human being. APRC like other Parties including UDP and the Old PPP have their share of the Good, the Bad and Undesirable within it’s ranks. The objective should always be how best the Party or Government in Power can tame or rain in the Extremists or Militants in their ranks and positions of importance to the National Welfare, Safety and Security of the Republic. One Gambian bleeding because of Politics of any kind is too many. Let’s disagree if we must, but let’s do so with an abundance of caution and do so with a personal and Collective responsibility toward one another. One Gambia, One People, One Destiny.

  10. Is Da Reality
Creatures like you should remain in your dark hiding places to save your own worthless existence. We know who the warriors are, and believe me they don’t run away with their tails between their skinny legs into exile, but stand and fight to the last man. Macky Sall’s chicken soldiers are now eating chicken belonging to the Kanilai monster inside the Kanilai fiefdom without resistance from any APRC party disciple.
I wonder where you have been hiding pal, but just to let you know that APRC is not a party any more but a movement of disgruntle Jolas from the Fonis who are still bitter for the lost of the Jola hegemony. Bring it on ”Is not Da Reality”, bring it on if you are warriors, then our land will be forever cleanse of evil creatures like you and any APRC member who dare to challenge our supremacy.
