The secretary general of the pro-Barrow Gambia For Five Years has waved goodbye to President Adama Barrow and his NPP.
In August of this year, Ebrima Sori Bah issued an ultimatum to President Barrow to work on his(Sori Bah) welfare improvement before September 8 or else.
Well, since President Barrow did not make any move towards improving the welfare of his former schoolmate and bed fellow, Sori Bah has decided to call it quits.
“I quit the NPP and don’t refer to me as Ebrima Sori Bah NPP or Ebrima Sori Bah President Barrow,” he rectified the host of King FM Felerango morning show today.
“I gave the President an ultimatum and since he did not respond favorably to it, I decided to quit the NPP,” he told host Assan Ceesay.
Meanwhile, Ebrima Sori Bah led a successful pro-Barrow demonstration in 2019, drawing thousands of Gambians onto the Banjul Highway.
The counter-demonstration followed a similar hugely successful demonstration against Mr. Barrow’s decision to rule beyond three years as he promised.
