Senegal’s Ousmane Sonko Turns Down Gov’t Offer

PASTEF leader, Ousmane Sonko, has turned down an offer by Senegalese authorities, allowing him to leave the country in exchange of liberty.

The Parliamentarian for Ziguinchor, Guy Mary Sagnia, made the revelation over the weekend as Senegal is inexorably moving towards the February 25, 2024 Presidential election.

Senegal’s opposition leader has been sent to jail for over four months but his support is increasingly going up, sending a clear message to President Sall government that the time for change has come.

According to the National Assembly Member with thundering declarations about the need for change, Sonko has categorically refused to seal a deal against the interest of Senegalese people.

MP Sagnia’s revelations comes on the heels of an announcement made by Adama Fall that the PASTEF was setting off towards a foreign country.

Meanwhile, impeachable sources have disclosed to Jollofnews that the lines are moving: Macky Sall only needs guarantees that he will not be subjected to witch-hunt after handing over power.
