Brighton pulled off a stunning comeback to beat Tottenham 3-2 after being two goals down at halftime, with Gambian winger Yankuba Minteh playing a crucial role.
Spurs started strong, scoring twice in the first half, but Minteh sparked Brighton’s revival with a low strike in the 48th minute.
His goal gave Brighton momentum, and by the 58th minute, they were level thanks to a well-taken goal by Rutter. Just eight minutes later, Danny Welbeck completed the turnaround by scoring the third goal, putting Brighton in the lead.
Tottenham, unable to recover from Brighton’s resurgence, struggled throughout the second half, while Minteh continued to be a threat until he was substituted late in the game.
Brighton held on for the win, securing an incredible three points and leaving Tottenham to rue their second-half collapse.
