‘About 200 Gambians Stranded In Algerian Desert Village Of Tefesa’

About 200 Gambian migrants were reportedly stranded in Algeria as the Tunisian border authorities tightened entry restrictions.

The migrants were reportedly turned back at the Tunisia border as they attempted to use that country as launchpad for the dangerous journey to Europe.

Reports reaching JollofNews have been painting pictures of very tough conditions for the Gambian migrants currently camped at the desert village of Tefesa.

Some of them have been making distress calls to family, friends and media in desperate and frantic efforts to draw the attention of the authorities to their plight.
