Njogu sets OB training camp alight

Njogu Demba scored the only goal in a gruelling Odense internal training Camp Friday afternoon, believed by the team’s technical officials as a good workout for 24 players. Much of the battle took place in the area between the two penalty boxes, which can lead to several conclusions. Among other things it could be argued that players might know each other so well that the possibility of surprise was quite small. Or one can conclude conclude Odense has so many good players that you can put up two almost equally good teams. This is the conclusion which is perhaps the most frightening for the other opponents in the SAS league. But since it was the first training camp it must probably have been a little difficult predicting too much from the two halves on Friday afternoon. The fact however, is that Njogu Demba scored the match’s one goal, and thereby provided his side of the OB-team victory. The camp also provided coach  Lars Olsen an opportunity to gain a preliminary impression of the two players who are currently on trials with OB; a test of  battle indeed Babajide Ogunbiyi and Gabriel Enzo Ferrari. OB’s next training camp is against FC Fredericia on Friday the 29th January.
