Madi Jobarteh: Candle Light Vigil And Prayers For 66 Children

The World Health Organization (WHO) has issued an alert over four cough and cold syrups, warning they could be linked to the deaths of 66 children in the Gambia.

Today Friday October 7 at 7pm Westfield

Dear Gambians in The Gambia and Diaspora

All Gambians are aggrieved at the unnecessary and untimely death of 66 innocent children due to sheer failure of the Government to protect them.

To show our grief and demand justice and accountability, we are holding a candlelight vigil and prayers for these departed gentle souls today Friday, 7 October at 7pm at Westfield.

We are calling on all Gambians to join us in memory of the departed souls. The journey for justice and accountability starts today!

If you can’t come to Westfield, light your candle and pray for the departed innocent children anywhere you are. At home. In the market. On the beach. In the mosque or church. On the street. Just pray for the children and demand Justice. In the Diaspora.

May the gentle souls of these innocent children rest in perfect peace. Amen.
