Police Investigate Burglary Incident At President Barrow’s Majum Complex

Police in Serekunda have launched an investigation following a reported break-in incident at the Majum Complex, a property associated with President Adama Barrow. The complex, located along the Kombo Sillah Highway in New Jeshwang, was reportedly broken into on the night of Tuesday, 6th May 2025.

In a statement released earlier today, the Serekunda Police confirmed that a team comprising Crime Scene Investigators (CSI) and officers from the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) was immediately dispatched to the site following the report.

“The team visited the scene and has commenced a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident,” the statement read. Authorities have not yet disclosed the extent of the damage or whether any items were stolen.

While no arrests have been made so far, police say they are pursuing several leads and will continue to gather evidence. The public has been assured that updates will be provided as the investigation develops.

The Majum Complex, frequently mentioned in relation to President Barrow’s business interests, has drawn public attention in the past due to its high-profile status. The security breach raises questions about safety measures in place for prominent national assets and properties.

Citizens with any information relevant to the incident are encouraged to come forward and assist the ongoing investigation.
